Couldn't agree more snoop. It was one of our finest victories anywhere, and by a margin which flattered the cows, and all some can do is pick fault. What about the F%%&^#@ng kids?? How good are they. Leons second half will see him play every game this year and I will NEVER EVER knock Presti again. I take every thing back and I now know we need him to win a flag. All in all a great night for the club and our top 4 aspirasions.Snoop Dog wrote:Fair dinkum some of you are intoxicated with Travis Cloke. All I am readiing is stuff about how he should improve his kicking. The bloke kicked 2:3. Sure he could have kicked a bit better but some of his shots were very wide.
FFS - why not focus on how hard the bloke worked and how often he presented. He has been very good for the last 2 weeks.
Focus on the positives. He is 20 yo and developing nicely.
This was a great win - pat the bloke on the back!

Don't forget . He IS a Cloke and the son of David. Need I say more. Great game young manDavid wrote:Hey I'll be fair to Trav, by the way. Kicking wasn't always good, but he DID stand up a couple of times and kick important goals, one of them I think from quite an acute angle. And there was at least one poster in there.

Awesome win. The dominance wasn't reflected on the scoreboard. We forced one of the most, if not the most, disciplined and skilled outfits in the competiton into basic skill errors and turnovers.
Our field passing is improving by the week.
Take a bow Rhyce Shaw. Sir Scott Burns - I think is becoming the spiritual leader of the side - his ferocity is leading the way. What a great teacher for these young kids to have.
Leon added silk in the middle and across halfback.
Rocca fought hard against up to 4-5 opponents at times. Travis Cloke's work ethic cannot be faulted. His kicking will come along. He has said he's working on it. Once he settles a set routine, he could be a 60+ goal a year forward. He's still under 21 - so no worries here - he's coming along great.
One thing that is forgotten about our injuries is that our two most senior defenders, clement and presti, were absent during large chunks of the game due to injuries picked up during the game. Our young backline held firm, led by Maxwell and O'Brien.

Great effort.Never gave up.Tarkyn Lockyer take a bow,you were fantastic.
Exciting times ahead for the Magpie faithful, with the group of youngsters at the club we cannot help but have success, they are inspirational.
Put another season on Thomas, Pendelbury and the like and it makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck to think what may be around the corner.
With an ounce of luck that could have quite easily been a 12-14 goal win!

Great team effort. The icing on the cake was the money I collected at the right odds. Crows $1.36 to win after travelling to Perth and with so many injuries was *ullshit. My Bookmaker was crying last night. Not only Did I collect on the win but picked the margin and won as well.
lol
