Ch10 News (Clement):

-Thomas, Burns and Medhurst are fit to go.

-Didak a strong chance.

-Licuria will miss.

-Presti MUST survive training tomorrow

-Bucks' exact return date unknown.

For the Bombers, Fletcher is facing an injury test, whilst Hird is 'probable' - Garry O'Donnell - but won't be 100%.

OK, then, I'm confident that the Pies will no-sell everything Essendon throws at them and they'll win quite comfortably! ;)

The bombers are in for an absolute hiding.

For the first time this year we will have close (except for Bucks) to our best forward line with Pebbles surrounded by the class of Didak and Medhurst...i'm excited!

in the form essendon is in we will have to be at our best, sharpest and toughest.

No passengers.

I said last week we must hit targets v port, if not we will get run over. It happened, this week is no exception.
We cant let our backline panic either with the much publicised tackling that the small essedon forwards do. Forwards must make the most of every half chance and chance.

Will be a cracking game and i think the fittest will win. A huge test for the boys, not only on such a big day but the most inform team in the competition.

Pregame predictions:
Toovey to tag Hird.
Presti to Lloyd.
Clement to Lucas.
Joshie must have a massive one.
Trav has to step up and make life difficult for Mal Michael.
Swanny and Johno have to run a muck.
Medhurst and Didak should return.

Has anyone heard about Lonie yet? True, he might not be the biggest name missing with injury at the moment, but he has played well in a few anzac day fixtures in the past, and I think he could have been useful on Saturday.

The chances of him playing are what Dark Lord just said.

If only Brodie was playing, Hirdy would be out of the game in the first 3 seconds of the game

But unfortunately we are going to get flogged, I just hope Mick brings in Bryan, plays Fraser forward and gives Travis a chance to kick a bag on Bolton :D

Jonno looked pretty sore to me - id be surprised if he came up.
It would take a scientific/medical miracle for us to get up on Wednesday - jeez we looked sore.
Burns and Daisy looked gone for month/s.
If we won this one - id rate it as one of our greatest H&A victories of all time.

I do find it amusing where all of a sudden some what Bryan in the team when only in December he was a dud, an ageing ruckman (at 24 then) with a stuffed knee. Bad decision for the pies to draft him. NOW he is wanted in the team for ANZAC day.

lucas and lloyd worry me. they're in form and i think our ability to contain the damage from these two will have a lot to do with our chances of winning.

Not every one had that opinion madness , he is what we need may not be the messiah but he will give an honest go in the ruck unlike richards who gets thrashed 95% of the time.

I think Bryan should be brought in and drop Richards and use Bryan as the battering ram. Bryan should not worry about being suspended and just go absolutely crazy. He can take out Hird Lucas and Lloyd in the first quarter, stuff it lets bring it on for a good old fashioned rough and tough physical encounter led by Bryan!!!!!!!!!!! :x :x
