Like WHAT?? Geez!! How about sheer joy? Happiness? Credibility as a good side? Confidence? Positive outlook for the year?Captain_MyCaptain wrote:like what exactly??Plenty O'Toole wrote:Go Pies, if we can win this game IT will mean so much.
Unbelievable.......!!
Give me a win anyday in any game involving Collingwood rather than another bloody loss dude. We must NOT have a losing culture set in among the newer younger players FFS
Go thrash 'em 'pies, its worth a lot and means bloody heaps to MOST of us fans......

Channel 7 news remarked how well the Pies were playing against a St Kilda side playing most of it's top liners. Good to see although as someone remarked earlier, in the context of the season it means exactly as much as last weeks loss does.
The only difference is it's much nicer to win.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
Can you rephrase the question please?Lazza wrote:Like WHAT?? Geez!! How about sheer joy? Happiness? Credibility as a good side? Confidence? Positive outlook for the year?Captain_MyCaptain wrote:like what exactly??Plenty O'Toole wrote:Go Pies, if we can win this game IT will mean so much.

This is the start of something BIG. Anytime we beat the Saints, it is a defining moment of our season.
So far we know Medhurst can gun it, we can build a midfield around Pendles, Josh has taken it to another level, Dale Thomas as long as he backs himself is the midfield/cum forward to complement Didak, the hands-in-the-back rule wont hurt Jimmy "Boy" Clement one little bit, Ben Reid could be anything, Cox will loom large this season, Dick will keep dodging and weaving, in and out, all day but he must keep out of the way of GoldSack.

Collingwood has beaten St Kilda by 48 points in an AFL practice match at MC Labour Park this afternoon, but the win has come at a cost with two Magpies suffering injuries.
Goal sneak Paul Medhurst and youngster Brad Dick both suffered injuries in the first half, but their severity was not yet known straight after the 15.10 (100) to 7.10 (52) victory.
Former Docker Medhurst hurt his leg when leading for a mark 13 minutes into the opening term, while the 18-year-old Dick was knocked down close to half-time. Both did not return.
Of the St Kilda stars who didn't play last week's NAB Cup loss to Brisbane, Luke Ball and Nick Dal Santo had plenty of touches while Fraser Gehrig was quiet with only one goal from three-quarters' play.
Collingwood led by 31 points at half-time before running out easy winners.
