Jason was the only player dropped, nice of you to change words around as usual MG

Also funny how after our other embarrasing effort, no player was dropped. Interesting that, oh wait, to drop someone he would have had to bring Jason in.

Last weeks article, so what? Mick has had it in for jason for a while now. The article makes no difference.

Not a Collingwood supporter? Whatever MG, I am sorry if I should be happy to see friends do well under a decent coach

That was piss poor!

For the second week in a row we were pretty ordinary. I'll cop we have our best big blokes out and that TC was not right tonight. Hence was always going to be hard to win. PLus, the umps gift wrapped the free kick for them in the first 3 qtrs (which they tried to even out in the last).

But........ we certainly know a few things;

Rowe - ordinary. Only have to compare him to Stanton to see the difference.

Tarrant - is his problem in the knee or the chest?

Buckley - showed how Tarrant should play. If I were CT I would have been a little embarrassed.

Cara - Our Mark Waugh. YOur out on the full was a terrible lesson for the young kids.

Presti - clean up your left hand or you'll get umped out of the game

Swan - not a fwd, but good back.

Maxwell - presents from HF

Davis - should be given more of a go in middle.

O'Bree/Lica - to many times they are not on when the game is to be won early. Why? They are slow and they need the games pace to come back to them.

Cole/Lonie - werent the worst and had a go.

Fanning - nice tap work but crap around the ground.

Egan - could be anything - needs to know he is a long way from it though. He'll learn.

Lockyer/JOhnson - terrible efforts for senior blokes.

I really believe TC needs a rest, Yakka Davidson, Shaw boys and C1 need to come back in.

Out needs to be Hall, Rowe, OBree, TC, JOhnson

Okay Goin to have a bit of a rant here:

First...Anyone who watched that game and thinks that the umpires are not biased against us was not watching the same game i was, they were atrocious.

Tarrant - FFS give the guy a bit of a break, he runs all night long and gets little to no delivery from the midfield and ppl yell that he should be traded..come off it!! and another thing - the guy has a cyst...BS - He has OP when are they ever going to come forward and tell the truth!

Cloke - Fair Dinkum if I was Big Daddy Cloke I would be having some serious words with the coaching staff and the medics that said he was right to play, it is a complete disgrace that he even took the field tonight, He is 18 FFS, pulling shit like that and putting that much pressure on an 18 year old could stuff him for life - I am disgusted!

HARMZ - there is the door buddy.....seriously talk like that is just crap mate..there is a club down at Punt Road that would be willing to have you there....you stick by them, you get angry, pissed off etc etc, but you stick by them...

For all the talk of how crap we are, of how things have gone wrong, of how eddie has stuffed up the club....we are collingwood.....we will bounce back....and i love em enought to wait!! if you can't well piss off!!

Cheers

Yeah, Yeah Hiss. Same post as last week. But you still haven't answered the question I asked (twice) last week. What management team has given you the success you talk about in your 35 years membership?
I dont see how your question is relevant. Isnt it Hiss' contention that that has been Collingwood's problem, that they cant get it together management wise, in 35 years?[/quote]

No. Hiss's contention (at least last week) was that it's all Maguire's fault. Here is a quote from his post of last week:

The McGuire experiment has clearly failed. We exist to win on field. And on this measure, who can argue we are improving. We have left our 'spiritual' home for a shared facility. A corporate culture and a distancing of traditional core values where Presidential foreign suited lunches are the norm and the common supporter is a mere product to determine yield, rather than people who count.

And I know those swines who invade this website representing the club will condemn me again for these comments, but to you I say don't waste your time. For you are too obvious now.

As a 35 year member I will stand up and demand change and appeal to supporters with any courage to do the same. Ignore those who regularly bag us for daring to question. Let us fight the good fight and restore CFC to it's former glory and dispense with this corporate culture lie that has us breaking all the wrong records and paying huge salaries for the privilege.

I don't want the coach sacked. I want those who allow our football department to go unchecked and unaccountable for this unprecedented failure sacked.

And what I want to know is what is he proposing instead? The New, New Magpies? Bankruptcy? Insolvency?

I quoted Malthouse. I can see why you took up umpiring has you have no idea about football, or cricket for that matter.

If the dickhead Cloke wants to get into the team then it shows how stupid he is by bagging the selection committee.

What an idiot. I can see why you are friends however.
Jason could be BOG every week at Williamstown, be BOG in his first game back get unfairly dropped, go back to Willy and be BOG or close every week again do the right things and still not get selected, oh wait thats exactly what has happened. Its no suprise when the media come calling the frustration comes out.

All I can say is.....

Ego....
Is not a dirty word.

Showed something tonight when given a midfield role. Has a future.

30 shots to 26 for a 26 point loss. Can anyone say "Goalkicking practice"?

Why MG? He aint going to get a go under Mick, will be funny when Wakes retires, there is no one on the list to take his spot, better hope O'Brien flies through development and then Clement aint young either

I dont think our kicking really made much difference, we were smashed, Essendon gave up at 3 qtr time knowing they were home, if we kicked straight, we wouldnt have kicked about 7 goals to 3 or something in the last qtr as they may have had to play out the game

Excuse me if i am wrong.. but do most posters here just enjoy dishing it out to players, they seem to thrive on abusing players and ranting on about the negatives far too often... Come on people, true supporters support through the hard times, they dont say players should be delisted because of one bad game.. ie: someone stated johnno to be delisted which i found laughable, the bloke isnt 100%, plays a couple of bad games, but nope. get rid of him.. please get serious... and u call yourself a supporter.. i for one wouldnt give two hoots if u barracked for another club.. id be more than happy if that were the case, we already have far too many of your type following the magpies...

I was a bit surprise to see him whinging in the media. More so when there's blokes like Andrew Schauble playing reserves and not doing it.

Was Schauble the only player dropped after one of the worst losses ever despite being the best player one week prior and is being held out by the coach despite being in the best every week in the 2nds?

More or less, yes.

Schauble got dropped after one average but not totally poor effort when Whitnall kicked goals on him. He's since regularly been BOG in the reserves and is currently being kept out of seniors by a kid who is the laughing stock of most Swans supporters, and who hasn't performed well. If i didn't think there were similarities in the two situations i wouldn't have suggested there were. There would be no point.

My original post wasn't to bag Jason it was merely stating that i was surprised to see him say what he said, knowing there are other better credentialed/performed players suffering the same fate but not whinging.
