Gunna check that out!

Attacking life on Stan. It’s a 90 min doco about an Aussie who was bitten by a shark, so inspiring, brilliant

Shazam 2, fury of the gods. Got the pirate DVD for $5 rather than paying $30 to watch online or more to go to the movies. Quite enjoyed it.

Watched Ant Man-Wasp Quantumania last night.

Whatever drugs the script writers were on, are clearly strong and messes with minds.

Saw John Wick 5 tonight. Extremely violent but interesting in a thriller way. Need to suspend reality throughout the movie due to literally unbelievable scenes and fantasy accident recoveries that would have killed a normal human being 10 times over. Reeves plays the lead character role very well. 7/10
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

Two classics on SBS World Movies yesterday: Red Sun and Charade.

Red Sun: a ripper western with a bit of a twist in that it combines some Samurai elements, and quite funny too. One of Charles Bronson's best.

Charade: wonderful twisty-thriller/comedy with an all-star cast (James Coburn, Walter Matthau, George Kennedy) headed by Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. As good as a Hitchcock.

I love seeing some of the movies that come up here, including stuff I would never watch even if strapped to a chair with my eyelids glued open. We Collingwood Supporters are truly a diverse bunch.

Mean Machine. Basically a pommy rip off of The Longest Yard, but even though I have zero time for soccer, not a bad watch. Quite good actually.

Some parts of the script are so obviously pinched, almost word for word in some parts, but still a good watch.

“Power of the Dog“ on Netflix.

Excellent film. Cinematography was stunning as were the performances.

Very good indeed.

Netflix, Danger Close, three story of the battle of long tan

I have watched so many Vietnam war movies, lst of the, american, this is an Aussie true story, about 108 ANZACs who held of 2000 enemy soldiers.

It’s gut wrenching, a must see. And you have to watch the credits.

War machine with Brad Pitt, all the anti USA folks would love it!

It’s very bizarre, the story of General Glen McMahon, who was literally taken down by rolling stone magazine, while in charge in Afghanistan.
