Is this the death penalty equivalent of two life sentences?

That is so seriously fkd up it's on another level.

String up the dead body so mum in law gets to kick the stool out. Hope the old bat broke her leg.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

It’s not great, but I’d rather people hanged dead bodies than live ones!

Hanged is right. I know it doesn't sound right - you say "hung" if you've, eg, hung something out (eg, the washing). But if someone is executed by hanging, you say they were "hanged". They may, of course, need to be hung, first, so they can be hanged - but let's no go there.

The case against Melissa Caddick is going to be dropped

"...The corporate regulator is set to withdraw the raft of criminal charges laid against fraudster Melissa Caddick after her presumed death.

Campers found a running shoe containing human remains at Bournda Beach south of Tathra, on 21 February. Subsequent DNA testing confirmed the remains were those of Ms Caddick who disappeared from her Dover Heights home in mid-November, only hours after Federal Police had executed a search warrant on behalf of the Australian Investments and Securities Commission (ASIC).

I think the police thought they didn't have a leg to stand on

Jamesy, if you're reading this, we're waiting! This very thread, in fact, might be a good place to expound on this subject.
