Naughton takes his 9th contested mark and kicks his 5th goal. They tell us that's second only to Carey with 10.

How sad he's not a Pie (after growing up barracking for the Pies).

GC finally get a bit of scoreboard reward.

"Nine consecutive inside 50 entries now to the Suns with the goal to Miles capping this period of control..."

They have been competitive in Q3.

geez Dusty Martin is a sook. Total lack of respect for the opposition even though they pulled his pants down. Carried on when he did his trademark push and the ogs player grabbed his arm and dragged him down and he incorrectly disposed of the ball. I said after the first round when carlton did similar that they have worked him out.

Side note have a look at the ladder. Hawks and Bulldogs both have the same percentage and same point difference. I. How would that work in a draft sense? Toss a coin. If it was 8 and 9 at end of H and A rounds Even harder.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

GC are still competitive half-way through Q4, scoring the only 2 goals so far to cut the margin to 17 points.

Simpson is not going to be happy after this game.

And that's the FT score.

Not a bad effort from GC. GC won HOs 64-32 HO and centre clearances 10-5, but lost stoppage clearances 23-38.

It was much closer than the bookies' line. (I hope some of you got on at GC (+47.5).)
