With Daniher signed, Essendon now hopes to put away Free Agent, Zaharakis.

I think Zaharakis has been somewhat disappointing in recent years, and it seemed that he was a little unhappy. But he played through the saga years and with Essendon seeming to be a much better side, he'll sign on soon.

He grew up a fanatic of the club as well, so...

A Fyfe/Freo deal is also being reported as looking likely.

Lever from Adelaide is also being reported as close to re-signing.

According to Tom Browne, we're after Levi Casboult

If we cant get Reid, I think it makes sense depending on the pay we offer.

Rockliff, imo, is almost certain to want to come to Victoria.

His wife is due soon and he said recently he will put his family first when making a decision.

27 and has a bad history of shoulder problems.

OP updated

With Sam Reid staying in Sydney, our targets will change.

Not much left now.

IMO, we should still look into Rockliff and Casboult. I'm assuming we are no chance of going after Martin. I'd also look at Zaharakis if he wasn't a certainty to stay with Essendon.

Again with out own lads:
Goldsack, offered a 1 year deal, will be around for at least one more.

Lachlan Keeffe; I dont know where he stands. Expected him to play more than Thomas has. Not in our best 22, but can he break back in? Or shall we let him walk?

Ben Sinclair; Will be happy for him to search his options. A new team would probably be great for his career. Still has something to offer, but like I said, a new environment could be what he needs.

Josh Thomas; Changed my mind on him. Would like him to stay.

Actually, i'd only entertain the thought of Rockliff, if we can't poach Lever.
Casboult is a match LOSER when the heat is on; we may as well see if Tippett is up for grabs on the cheap by the end of September.

Well there just isnt much left in this years FA.

Martin is the big one. But he's likely to stay. And very unlikely to go to Collingwood.

Rockliff is probably the next best available player. And somewhat gettable.

Casboult... yeah he isnt going to be the player that turns us into a premiership threat. So if we miss him, it wont really matter. I just think he can fit a hole for a couple seasons. Just remember that these players wont cost us draft picks, so it's at least worth a look.

I'd like to find Moore a tag team partner and take some of the pressure off. Perhaps Levi isnt it. But who can we trade for? (McGouvern? Gunston? Anyone?)

In other news, Jobe and Boyd have also hung up the boots, not that they were targets at all.

There's obviously a new thread in GD.

Anyway, the OP has been updated.

Casboult gone.

No KPF's available.

We'll be drafting or trading for one now. Not that Levi was the answer, but still.

OP updated.

F-all left now.

From what I can see:
Brisbane
Claye Beams
Tom Rockliff

Carlton
Simon White

Collingwood
Lachlan Keeffe
Ben Sinclair

Essendon
Ben Howlett

Fremantle
David Mundy
Nick Suban

Geelong
Daniel Menzel
Steven Motlop

Hawthorn
Taylor Duryea

Port Adelaide
Jasper Pittard
Jackson Trengove
Justin Westhoff

Sydney
Heath Grundy
Rockliff, Motlop & Trengove the only players worth a look now. Keeffe will probably be re-signed depending on our KPP stocks.

With Trengove gone to the Dogs, Rockliff looking like getting to Port on Monday and Motlop looking everywhere but Collingwood, I think it's safe to say we wont be signing any free agents this year.

There just isnt anyone worth adding left once Rockliff and Motlop are officially gone.
