eureka wrote:that means that the doggys wil have played 2 away finals matches in a row does not sound right they should have the next home game and there home is docklands
That's right, they will have to play away again. That's how the finals system is structured. The loser of Swans/ GWS will be playing in Sydney next week because they finished top four.

Spiral progress, unstoppable,
exhausted sources replaced by perversion
All top 4 teams are guaranteed a least one home final. Even if they have to play away in week one, if they lose, they host week 2. If they win, they host a Prelim.
Hawks played away to Geelong and lost - now it could be argued that this game should have been played at Kardinia.
But then, Hawks host the Dogs at the G, or Tasmania if they really wanted to.
Would love to see the Ponces beat the Thugs. But they are Ponces for a reason. They have never beaten Hawthorn once in a final (in case you're wondering they beat our mob but once.)
To win next week they will have to win two finals in one season, a feat they have not accomplished since 1961...
So much as I would like the miracle to occur, sadly we will have to put up with the horrible Hawks for one more week.
Hawks no chance whilst Gunstan continually avoids any physical contact.
"Out the back" Gunstan has been found out once his kicking for goal dropped away.
Like the little kid who "makes space" but in reality just doesn't like any physicality.
Watched his game against us and also vs cats. Continually out the back for the cheap easy ones.

Agreed; It's plainly obvious he is the one player missing the presence of Roughead, more than any other.
