have been told they won't be offered contracts next season. Boomer is apparently shattered. Don't be surprised if Hawks come sniffing as Clarko is a big fan. At 38 years of age his form is still brilliant. Can't tell me he wouldn't be better than Blair.

Maybe an Assistant coaching playing role for a year.
Your source is reliable. Just read it on afl site.
Harvey should be a target for us. Could be a fantastic tutor to our small forwards in a player/coach scenario

Agreed, but Bux won't do it as he is literal not lateral risk taker.

I genuinely apologise for questioning you and your source. I will enjoy a generous serving of humble pie.

Great scoop inxs88. Good to see your sources are sound.

Guess it really is no surprise if they have decided that they need a rebuild and that these players wont be there when they are contending for their next flag.

By the way, any inside word on this week's power ball numbers:)

Good sources,inxs88,they were right on the money.By the way, doesn't it seem strange for North Melbourne to axe these players before the finals?Just seems like the worst possible time to do this.

Imagine if they cut 3 and left boomer

or cut boomer and left dalsanto etc.

must of been worried they were losing majac daw to another team so showed they were not giving drew another contract?

Srsly big hit to any club to lose 4 players. But what was their list management doing having all these players contracts ending on the same year?

2nd half of the season must of killed these players careers in my opinion.

It's a players thing so their friends and families can give them a local send off.

So they have already conceded that they won't be making it to Grand Final day then...

Boomer apparently not happy at all. I agree, employ him as a forwards/midfield coach with a playing role. Worked very well last time with that big, bad, bearded ruckman. Would be invaluable I believe, not just for his playing knowledge but also for the secret to his longevity.

North will go Backwards now as they are Re-Building

I think North have made the correct decision. They probably tried to get Boomer to retire and go out with style but his ego would not allow it.
