Eagles all the way, all the live long day. !!
You know, in my life, i have never met a piss and poo fan that i liked, not once, yet i have known fans from nearly all other teams, that i have liked a lot. Whorethorn flogs are arrogant, snot nosed, snobby, leafy inner burbs types, full of utter crap, and insufferable lack of knowledge of footy. They are also flaky, and wont stick once the piss an poop start gong down, as they must, they are not loyal in the tough times. Utterly loathe them, and their vile team. GO EAGLES !!

Might be pretty tiough,if Brucies love child Ravioli Rioli boots the first goal, Bruce will blow his load prematruely, and be outa action for the duration of the game.

If the Eagles kick straight, they'll win by 10 goals. If they don't, I think they'll win by a 2-3 goals. Their score lines have flattered some teams (even the Pies) this season because of their terrible kicking.

Can't Stand the Arrogant Hawks Fans.

Stop it Jo, I'm having fantasies now...

I read somewhere this hawks side is the eldest team playing in a gf since the 40's . If it is hot and the eagles are close in the third they could run over the top of the hawks

Eagles!
Can understand the West Australian Magpie fans going for the Hawks though.
Lots of Swans fans here in Sydney going for the Hawks (they dislike West Coast from their two Grand Finals matches).

I guess that makes sense if it's the only two games they've ever watched.

Weagles.
Two in a row is enough. Plus my current boss, who doesn't know jack about footy, is apparently a Hawks supporter. If they win , I don't want have to pretend I give a rats on Monday.

No I think free agency benefiting Hawthorn is largely a myth and this is after doing more research on their player recruitment process and yes I was also surprised by how little free agency has benefited them overall. They actually lost Buddy to free agency and have only picked up Jonathan Simpkin and James Frawley during the last three seasons when free agency has been implemented.
However what has benefited the Hawks is their ability to trade in guys they need such as Lake, Gibson, Burgoyne and Gunston for example and being able to nail their draft selections such as Isaac Smith and Luke Breust in more recent times and in the 2000s obtaining Roughead, Birchall, Lewis and Rioli and going even further back with Hodge and Mitchell in which their longevity has been extraordinary considering most players from the 2001 draft are no longer playing these days barring 11 players and four of those players are at Hawthorn at the moment (Hodge, Mitchell, Hale and Lake). However I think Hale is close to retiring (or may have even announced his retirement) and Lake is considering retirement.
Hawthorn has also benefited with the inclusion of Gold Coast and GWS which has ensured that sides near the bottom around 2010-2012 were not going to get the best kids in the draft because they were all recruited to these two new clubs which therefore hinders the development and rebuilding process for these clubs.
Also with an 18 team competition, the spread of talent is too thin to have 18 teams and so I think the AFL made a big mistake introducing Gold Coast and GWS too soon. Personally I wouldn't have done it but sadly they're here to stay especially if the AFL keeps pumping money into these clubs.
Overall the lesson here is don't trade with the Hawks because they're more likely to burn you than any other club.
