Well Bryan does give some Grunt, Well I guess with West coming in for the Handbaggers it does give someone for Bryan to ruck against that is the same size as him.

But I still think it's stupid

hey don't pick on Corio Bay, not all of us are sook-bags! Or even Geelong supporters! God I get rabid when ppl say I should be a Geelong supporter! It's a really sore point with me. I usually just say I'll barrack for whoever the hell I want and then they say well you're not really a Geelong-ite then and I'll say bullshit I was born here! How much more of a Geelong citizen can I be?! And then it goes full circle and they say well why don't you barrack for Geelong then? It's like beating your head against a brick wall. Only slightly less painful.

Bryan earned his spot in the side. Not saying Wood didnt but Bryan did.

Like Faves 08 said. He will give us some grunt.

Dont bash me for this but would have liked to have seen Lones in there.

Tall players may be found wanting tomorrow night - dewy ground -slippery conditions - its all about possession, hardness at the ball and backing each other up - I am happy with Bryan inclusion - foxtelmag

Wood has been dropped for team balance. Bryan caressed a few cats in the wrong direction last time and while this is still on their minds his inclusion will bring in the hardness we need around pack. Hope a vintage Rocca takes it up to Scarlett..... we need good delivery to Rocca and Scarlett will be shown up!

Happy with Bryan staying in. Not because I don't rate Wood, but Bryan's physicality created opportunities for us last week. There was a bit of spark about his play that we need at this stage.

Those who are unconvinced ought to watch last Friday night's replay carefully. I just hope he and Fraser are fit enough.

No one can say Bryan didn't grab his opportunity with both hands last week. He was terrific, made some errors but did some excellent things and really was a strong body around the contest.

Wood on the other hand will be a Collingwood player for many years - something I can't see with Bryan. However, Wood needs to get better. He rucks very well and looks good with the ball in his hands, but the fact is he hasn't got a lot of it in recent weeks. A spell won't hurt him, he is only young.

On form, Bryan deserves another game, it's as simple as that.
