surely we'd be running the risk of ottens and blake just smashing us. hard to see cox rucking against those two and the cats have a far better midfeld than st kilda. i hope last week was a one-off because i'd hate to see josh run into the ground...

The advantage of Cox is that he gives us great mobility around the ground as well as winning soem tap outs as well.

Compared to Richards he is a huge upgrade and totally would outpoint him - especially mobility and covering the ground.

Bryan is a far better option up forward - but Pebbles will be back.

Cox gives us the extra man at the ball ups as he is very quick if the ball hits the deck.

I think MM will keep him in this week.

In - Rocca, R.Shaw, Presti.
Out - Reid, Iles, Liccuria/Cox.

that's a big call. i thought cox was 6'2". it wasn't that long ago that we were all calling for a big bodied ruckman. i think everyone conceded that lade won the port game for them.

btw - not saying cox should go (sounds like he's out injured anyway). i just don't think i like a pies team with fraser as the only ruck.

We wouldn't go into a final with one ruck, therefore we should play 2 unless its going to rain like last week where one is the right option.

Dont see why people are keen on dropping Isles. He played well last week and wont be dropped.

If Cox is injured, then i think we should definitely replace a ruckman. Rocca can fill in, but he is not fit enough to move into the centre and have an impact. Id be bringing in Richards as Blake is immobile so Guy will not be exploited around the ground, and is the better technical tap ruckman.

Yep, just watched the replay again and Isles was excellent. He might look unfashionable, but in fact his selection of targets and disposal are excellent.

Joffa, about time you made a post pumping this kid up (maybe you have already?), because he's being seriously underrated.
