Reilly is a huge loss for the crows and they will miss him dearly. Considering they are not a high scoring team, the loss of Reilly, Johncock, Ricciouto, Hentschel, Biglands, Bode and potentially welsh and Porplyzia costs them dearly. I find when the crows win, 3 or so midfielders all kick goals. Reilly and Bode are always known to kick a few goals...Reilly's coming from 50 out.

The worry is still Thompson who can chip in with 2 or 3, Edwardes who is a superstar and Goodwin. If we let these guys all contribute to the scoreboard we will struggle as Adelaide's defence will hold us to around 10 goals only. You'd think our defence would have the edge over Adelaides so we should be able to restrict them to about this as well.

This is the sort of game you would love licuria as he is well suited to the Adelaide midfielders in a tagging role. Holland out hurts as well. But we shold be able to shut them down

Last I heard, the Pies were at $3.00 to win Head-to-Head. It might be worth a flutter at this early juncture.

Horses for course ... Leon has a good record at AAMI and will DEFINITELY stay in the team.

The weird thing is, after MM saying he and Dids need to play on ball, that he has barely played on ball all year, and I think it is because he just doen't have the fitness. In games where we were struggling like vs teh Roos and Port, he was never put in the middle...

With Bassett and Rutten as their AA Key defenders, Plan B may be to play a small forward line and use Rocca and Cloke off the bench or as a decoy FF or share CHF. Medders, Leon, Didak, Pendles rotating as our go to forwards. Unsettle the Crows defense structure by taking Rutton and Bassett out of the game.

Just a thought.

neither didak nor clement trained today and medhurst left the track early, hope all is well as we certainly need them at their respective ends of the ground on saturday night.

Davis should not move from the forward pocket...he is not an onballer. He is the sort of player we need at Rocca's feet all game, and he is wasted on ball as he does not have a defensive side and lacks the fitness and size to be dominant in the midfield.

Leave him at forward pocket...he is going to have bad games...all indigenous players have dry patches at forward pocket...but they are the sort of players you just need there because they can pop up at any stage and light the game up.

Hate to say it but i think Davis has to be shown that we have some good young players coming through, and if he isn't giong to perform at his best each week, then his the one that'll make way for them.
not another davis basher.
Ru i'm a big fan of Davis and i don't see how that is Davis bashing.
Medhurst will be back and by the sounds of it MM wants to play Wellingham, someone is going to make way for them.

With the way we have been going, anyone will be stiff to get dropped.

With all the positives so far, what i said was harsh.
Mossi pointed out he laid 5 tackles against Ess, so he is obviously trying his heart out. As we know Leon can turn it on at anytime.

Anyway i am not a Davis basher and I have never bagged anyone from Collingwood.

How come you never see unpires involved in drunken night club incidents? Think about it!!

How many drunken punch up's with bouncers do you get a christian fellowship meetings?

That's where they all hang out I bet ya!!
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.
