Attack all day and eventually things happen ala the Australian cricket team.
Best Players today for us:
Brodie Holland worked hard in close and was our best
Burnsy solid game
Presti super game on Richo
Clement for three quarters was briliant, eventually Brown broke loose
Johnson good as usual
Swan adds grunt and looks like a player of the future
Worst:
Rowe was diabolical and needs time at an easier level
O'Bree had no impact at all
Caracella lots of errors and struggling
Walker usual game, hard to imagine we will see him once Fraser and Richards return.
Some of the others:
Travis Cloke will be super
Egan looks the goods
Didak starting to remind us what he can do
Wakelin played well

My votes are for the best
3. Scott Burns
2. Prestigiacomo
1. Clement
Worst
3. Julian Rowe (6 touches, 5 clangers)
2. Tristan Walker (4 touches, 1 goal, 4 hitouts, did nothing)
1. Davies ( 5 touches, hardly sighted, but is young and hard to be critical)
3. Scott Burns
2. Prestigiacomo
1. Clement
Worst
3. Julian Rowe (6 touches, 5 clangers)
2. Tristan Walker (4 touches, 1 goal, 4 hitouts, did nothing)

There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.

Well what could have been if only we had one of Taz, Pebbles, Josh or Bucks in the last quarter - sigh!
Nothing wrong with the effort - just lacked the skill and the polish to finish it off. Take their best 4 out and see what happens
Egan showed enough today to give us hope - when he settles in will be an asset . His chase and run down of whoever it was was great and Trav continues to impress. C2 was looking better until he saw stars
Rowey made some costly mistakes today - seems to panic under pressure - give him time in the ones - time at Willi won't help that!
How many NoDoz do you reckon that little pr^k Brown took at 3/4 time - that free he got against Jimmy in the last bordered on the worst ever seen
Huge improvement from the debacle that was last week - GIVE JUDD WEEKS (or at least one) NOW!!

I was disappointed because I thought we were the better team today, but a huge Congratulations to the boys on a really good effort considering the fact that Tarrant didn't play and we lost Cameron in the third term.
There were improvements today especially in the tackling, running through the middle, supporting team mates and taking on the opposition.
Best Players ( sorry I can never really tell until I watch a replay when I get home but here goes )
Shawry - he just never gave up, runs hard at the footy, produces opportunties out of nowhere.
Wakelin/Presti - running back into packs, punching, supporting other players down back and moving up the ground to create some run
Johnson - similar to Rhyce, good effort coming back from injury.
Burns - the courage he shows is just unbelievable.
Special mention to Egan, he did show flashes today. Once he gets a few games up, he will be good for us.
I thought Tarkyn improved today too, his kicking was better.
GO PIES
luv jess

ok, O'Bree did ok but he obviously put the mozz on Rowe.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with our performance today.
Richmond had their full side, we had a side full of inexperienced kids.
We shut down the sook (Richardson)
We shut down Brown until he had his caffeine fix at 3/4 time and by then the boys were out of legs.
Egan was pretty raw when he first came on and his first 3 kicks were shockers, but he settled down and i think he's going to be an awesome addition to the team. Did you see his speed..and that fantastic tackle, can't remember who it was on, but it was fantastic!
All in all, we did remarkably well, they only won because of Brown who finally started to play in the last quarter.

Good point Bucks lets hope Judd gets pinged and the way the Tribunal has gone this year he looks to have a few problems.
As for the worst umpiring decision I have just sen the highlights of the Ess & Freo game where Carr was whacked by Zantuck after kicking a point and the umpire has gone to Zantuck to ask him if he wants the point or if he wants to replay it, Zantuck took the point surprisingly but it is first class comedy.

I missed the game as I was at my nephews 4th birthday party.
It was good to see us in front every qtr except the last. To hold the tigers to 5 goals in 3 qtrs was a mighty effort but then the flood gates open, 8 goals to 1 in the last, a pretty disappointing end to the game.
Could we break the weagles winning streak ?

Yeah just saw that and as the DGen would say that was " champagne comedy"

We play like that every week, and I will hold my head up high every week. Yeah, we didn't win the game and yes we made a lot of errors. But one thing is for sure, we played with passion an pride and the boys gave it their all.
I was happy to walk out and give it to the Richmond Scum telling them that the score line flattered them and they didn't win it, we lost it and that the better team didn't win today!
Add the likes of Bucks, Rocca, Taz and Fraser and then see what the scoreline would have looked like.

Great effort... Just one thing
C2 off with concussion after receiving a fairy tap to the face. Eh?
Then MM comes out and emphasises that we struggled when we lost C2 as a target.
If C2 was so important why did they leave him on the bench. My grandma has slapped me harder than the tap Cam received in the 3rd.
Pencil in the spoon I think we are making extra effort to lose games.
Not to mention our primary ball winner, BJ was taken off the ground for most of the 2nd half. No injury.
