Ablett will play on the ball hence will get lica or brodie, cole usually gets the permanent small forward of late eg. Matera, Shooter Williams, the Cats use Chapman a bit in that role.

Problem with ling is that he will do the run with thing, can't see lica tagging a tagger tagging someone else. the taggee will just have to damage the rednut. Look for someone to ping him running into the centre at a bounce :).

Scarlett needs to be in the goalsquare so that Taz can beat Dids and Sampi for the car :) anyhow Scarlett doesn't have a comfort zone. Against Lloyd he repeatedly ran down the field and received on the wing. Last week i'd imagine Taz was instructed to keep Joel Smith in the goalsquare, this week the Tazminator will be back to his roaming self so that Scarlett can not leave him at all.

If Graham goes back we will win, provided we limit Kingsley to 3 or less.

We need Presti while Graham is forward. Too big for Clemo or Wakes.
Get back on top.

This could be a good thing say if ling tags buckley, buckley would go to licuria's opponent, then i would push licuria foward of the play this making him the link man. Then geelong will have to make a decision to man up on licuria if they decide to man up on licuria and ling stays on buckley, i then would instruct buckley to go to the goalsqaure and be the leading foward as i think buckley is better overhead than ling. If MM can keep geelong trying to plug gaps in the coaching box all night this will help our cause. This will work if we get hands on the ball first.

Based on last season's performance vs Geelong, look for the following:

- Tarrant to play up the field and lead Scarlett to the ball
- Rocca to play as a marking option INSIDE F50
- Burns to play forward a bit
- Buckley to spend time forward to break the Ling tag (Ling was unsighted after half time last year).
- Rhyce Shaw to play (he played on Ablett in the Wizard Cup last year) and, although his kicking let him down a bit in the regular season game last year, his 'dashing runs' were a highlight. Leg Speed is required at Telstra Dome. (N.B. I am NOT a Rhyce Shaw fan, but I believe he will be selected).
- McGough to get a chance in the middle (fresh legs when needed).

WE WILL WIN

COLLINGWOOD v Geelong
Friday, 7.40pm, Telstra Dome

Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse said he would not risk young ruckman Guy Richards (groin) in this weekend's match against Geelong. The game will be crucial in determining Collingwood's chances of reaching the top eight.

i reckon we need to stock up on midfielders, e.g. playing McGough and Shaw so that MM can push players being tagged, being Bux, Licca, Woey, into the forward and pushing davis, didak, goughy and Rhyce Shaw into the midfield, i would let cole have first go on Ablett.

Probably right not to play Richards. Don't burn him out.

Tazza will lead Scarlett up the ball anyway so there's not need to worry about that. Rocca doesn't need to worry about Harley, as he's a much stronger mark.

Yes, I also think Shaw should play. He's got a good history against the cats and MM likes those aspects.

McGough is a certainty to play considering he turned the game last year in just over a half of football.

Should be a good percentage booster this week.

I think Richards nickname should be 'Galloping Guy' rather than the surreal 'stretch'

It will a bruising encounter tommorow night. someone must pull out clumps of mooney's hair and bite of his transfer tattoo for us to win! Scotty Burns will kick 10 from a back pocket!

Tarks will tackle "bean bag" ben graham and give him a knee reco!
