Over the past few losses, they have smashed us in the clearances (particularly when Gardiner was firing).
From the games i have watched, Dean Cox has done pretty well. He has also racked up quite a bit of posessions also. Hopefully Stretch can keep up his good work, which would allow Josh to play more up forward again.
Defensively, we'll probably see Jimmy on Matera and Coley on Sampi. Midfield match ups once again will be very interesting. Embley is a bit of a wildcard for them, when he fires they usually go well. It will be interesting to see who we will tag since Judd, Cousins, Kerr, all loom as possible threats. Lokan did a great job last week, he might get one of these 3, perhaps even Judd - which will be a great test for him.
I think if Dids plays around half forward, Embley might take him and run off him as much as possible. He did that against the swans recently when playing against Michael O'Loughlin, and did it well. Pebs should be able to manhandle their defense, particularly without Jackovich playing anymore. Taz should be too quick for Glass, and he is in great form. Leon needs to lift a bit, been a bit quiet (although he kicked an important goal last week)
We need to play with the same intensity as last week, Lica might be out and that is a big blow for us - the others need to lift if this the case. I think we need to kick at least 15 goals to win and i believe our defense can restrict them to about 10 goals - pies to win by about 5 goals

i reckon we will beat the weagles but we all thought that last time we played em at the dome. everyone thought it was our home game so we'd smash em. less then 10mins to go we were up by 3 goals and they ended up beatin us. we can't get too confident, but if we continue to play good footy like we have recently i reckon we'll be ok.
i reckon licca would be unlucky if he gets rubbed out. i think he's safe. fingers crossed though

I suggest we open up a sticky thread for umpiring too. As much as we contemplate pre-match selections, who will play on who etc etc. the game has been added a new dimension - umpiring.
Who will award the most outrages frees and which umpire will ignore blatant frees. Who will gain the most advantage and who will lose out. I reckon it will be interesting to speculate.
So which way will they go this week? I'm afraid we are due for a negative this week.
