mate umpires will not decide the game. After last nights frees though for heavens sakes our boys need to get in front and be 'knocked' over. Worked for the Crows and Essendon were too stupid to allow it to work for them. And they were second to the ball as snipers often are. Love how sheeds says how he doesnt have his best team on the field, is rebuilding, the crows have to win it now, yadda yadda yadda. Face it sheedy the bombers are in a nosedive and no ted richards or scrawny reynolds is gonna save em.

Freo scare me too. If we belt the crap out of them in contested ball situations like we can do then we will win.

The year, like most years, is in two halves. The second half is when the ladder sorts itself out as everyone finally has met everyone else.

The coaches who have been around know this is the time to push the accelerator down.

By September it will be all the way to the floor.

In recent years we've run out of steam by round 18 but this year Like phar lap we're pacing ourselves better.

I have to say Freo scare me. They have the forward line to hurt us. We had a "no name" defense last year...this year the dockers have one. Our forwards can hurt them still. This game will be won in the middle. Midfields are both pretty good. Whoever gets on top in their will win.
