An excellent effort by the Aussies again. Other teams might have fallen apart under the early boundary barrage from the English openers.

Bichel rose to the occasion - and magnificently! He has now bowled 16 overs in three games for a return of 12/33. Not bad for your reserve quicky!

Stewart(46) and Flintoff(45) battled it out for a while but good bowling from Hogg(0/28 from 10) and Lehmann(0/34 from 10) kept the total to 8/204.

I didn't think anyone could take 7 wickets to be honest but I think it's great that Bichel has because I have always liked him, he works damn hard and deserves the success!

England are playing pretty well........Andy Caddick the butt of some many jokes has taken 4 wickets.......lol lol

anyway australia look to be in trouble but knowing them they will still win!!

Yup well done to the Aussies........woke up and watched the final two overs.....i guess you can never write them off.

Bevan scored a match winning innings and toughed it out but Bichel must get credit for his whirl wind knock. Will have to watch the replay to see if England bowled well or whether the Aussie middle order got themselves out.

That was quite a siz by Bichel straight into the scoreboard.

England so close yet SO FAR!!!

PURE CLASS.

Michael Bevan and Andy Bichel put on 73 runs in 72 balls to win a thriller. Bevan's 70 from 125 was a masterpiece of concentration, skill, quite amazing patience and timing.

Bichel's 33 from 35 completed a truly fantastic match. Storybook stuff. His team's best two bowlers are getting smacked around and he comes on and takes 4/12 from 6 overs! Then, in his second spell, he bowls 4 overs and takes another 3/8!

If this weekends cricket is a taste of things to come the Super sizes should be fantastic to watch.

I thought the first round stage was dragging on a bit but this weekend was good.

Oh what a bloody game I can't believe it! I was so so so worried and thought we had definately lost it and Donny kept saying NO NO NO but I didn't believe him and just take a look will you WE BLOODY WON! GO AUSTRALIA!

Bevan sweetheart you can be as "boring" as you like you are just a CHAMPION! 74 off 126 balls with a strike rate of 58.73, a lot of people on here will call that boring but that's because they have no bloody idea! Bichel jesus what can we say about this guy! He just bowled so damn good and then went and supported Bevan to win the game for us! 34 off 36 balls oh and that six that hit the scoreboard in the second last over my god that was just terrific! I'm not kidding I started screaming and clapping so loud I must have woken the whole house up!

That was just top stuff and there is no chance of me sleeping tonight after watching that! WE ROCK WE ROCK WE ROCK GO AUSTRALIA!

I actually think it will prove to other countries how difficult it is to beat Australia.
A match they should have lost, but amazingly pulled from the fire. I can't see how it can prove to other countries that the Aussies can be beaten, I think it just re-enforces how good they are and a win like that will no doubt boost their confidence leading into the super sixes.
