I agree with a lot of what's said in that video, I also know that high school sport in the USA is a much bigger deal than here.
Following on from what David said earlier about how Transgender people used to be invisible, clearly they aren't any more. With the multitude of genders I've lost track of what gender actually means anymore, it seems to be blurring into sexuality which is confusing.
However, with the increasing number of males transitioning to females and wanting to compete in athletic pursuits, there is a genuine possibility that you could have biological males dominating female sport in the not so distant future and that would be a problem.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

1. There's only been 2 sexes for millennia, hence only two genders
2. Most countries still only recognise 2 genders
3. With 437 and counting discrete genders, there's not enough people with athletic ability in most of them to form a netball side let alone a proper sporting competition

Its already a problem for the women being beaten by transgenders, just ask them, just listen to this school athlete. A lot of kids in the States on sports scholarships in college, will the born females now miss out?stui magpie wrote:I agree with a lot of what's said in that video, I also know that high school sport in the USA is a much bigger deal than here.

there is only one solution that is fair. Transgenders compete against same as transgenders. Male to female, separate from female to male.
What really shits me is if you share this point of view you get called...whatever, im not a bigot, im not racist, but im also not going to be politically correct, this is just not fair. Yes its great that they are no longer invisible, just as its great that being gay is for most places, no longer a crime, that doesnt mean they should get extra advantages. this is no different from a woman taking steroids and getting banned, and then there is that, will it mean more athletes take that risk in order to try and compete where they just cant? maybe thats a jump, but maybe its not.
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
