100% confirmed we liked Jake, but we did a “deep background check” on his associates (is that a first? Usually it’s just the player) and went ice cold on him after that. Speaks volumes. I’m bloody happy that the club saw the bigger picture and the media attention it’d bring to our club (we’re already watched by every ambulance chaser in the media, we don’t need to encourage more headlines).

Swans have now ruled him out. GWS is his next link. If they rule it out, I wonder if he'll get out of Essendon. Carlton? Hawks? Dees? StK? Geelong haha?
