Why not? How dare you infer these traditions that gifted us the greatest successful years in our Club history be trashed and replaced with a set of modern criteria that results in so much on field failure . I say we embrace again the requirements that coaches have to have played for the Club and life members have a minimum of 25 years active service at Collingwood. Administrators and Board Members must have been social club members for at least ten years. It’s about time we restored the values of loyalty, respect , traditions, and service to our Club. You progressive types are wrecking our Club. Shame shame shameRd10.1998_11.1#36 wrote:^ McHale was appointed coach over 100 years ago... Kyne was 70 years ago. Both started as playing coaches
With all due respect to their success, don't think we should be making decisions today based on those precedents

Pardon
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

Whats laughable - people suggesting Pendles would be a good fit in another club with a developing list like Suns............yet we have played the most kids this year and actually have a developing list screaming for an experienced player/on field coach.

What did they make up? This is EXACTLY what Pendles said. I want to be a one club player...BUT.....Mr Miyagi wrote:Ducking media!!!! Can’t wait to read and hear all the apologies for making shit up.
"I've been on record saying I really do want to be a one-club player. Hopefully we nut something out soon," Pendlebury said on Triple M.
"But if they [other clubs] want to offer me future coaching gigs for a couple of years' time, I'll have a look at it."
Media started the “club leaves Pendlebury hanging with one year offer, considering playing for another club” bullshit. Timmy on 7 was the worst of them. What'sinaname wrote:What did they make up?
