In the GF Sier played about 45mins.
that is because he was exhausted. I sat right near the bench. The poor kid had a hard time making it to the bench on some occasions. He was just totally spent in the second half. There was another time he literally planted himself on the wing for a minute right near the bench, just waiting for his turn to some off.
He couldnt run at all. Not sure if it was injury or just his young body had too hard a season.... This just shows how heroic we were even to hang on as long as we did. We were all exhausted in the end.

Me thinks that a week of rest during the finals and the outcome might have been different.

Sier has played one reserves game for the year, and that was against the Dogs on April 12.

I'd like to see Callum Brown given an opportunity to play the "Taylor Adams" role.

I was actually saying this to my bother last night, quite possibly before Adams was injured.

He's not really a forward, doesn't hit the scoreboard and isn't a natural forward crummer. But he is good in close and longer term I think he will end up in the midfield. Just a hard place to get a game at the moment.

Aish in this camp too, he's not really a defender but is being played there.

I'd like to see Aish come in for Adams and give he and Brown a run as inside mids.

My 2c on the matter.

Aish comes in and Greenwood plays the Adams role.

I reckon Sier is at least a month away (and probably longer) from getting a senior game.
