I've only seen two games of his this season, so may be being unfair, but based on what I've seen, it's a big no way for mine. Most overrated player I've seen in a very long time.

Lever can play and whoever gets him has a potentially 200 game player. Is he worth pick 6? The current Market suggests he is and in saying that the Demons are pretty comfortable that they have him.

He looked very, very average in the finals. He was poor last week and got thrashed this week. I can't believe that people were pencilling him in to replace Langdon - he's slower and soft. Yeah. It's weak stuff when your arm is being held onto in the marking contest and when the opposition player blocks your path at the contest. He needs to play like Cotchin and bluff the umpire that his eye is on the ball when he takes the opposition player out.

Surely we are not offering up two first rounders for Lever.
Happy to pursue him, but that has proven to be overs for any player.

Is he what we desperately need in the side?

I watched the U18 all star game on the weekend and if Luke Davies-Uniacke is still available at pick 6 (which we may have traded) I think we would be kicking ourselves.

Just wondering, is Lever out of contract, in which case he can nominate for the draft if Adelaide doesn't clear him to the club of his choice? That doesn't equate to a situation where a club has to give up two first rounders for him.

This will be this year's "Chris Mayne" decision - two first round picks for a good ordinary player. Just no.

Certainly not worth 2 first round selections.

We need an absolute gun with pick 6.
We've had some misses with high draft picks in recent years... we need a bontempelli type win this year, via trade or draft, not a top up player.

On 2nd thoughts, a late first rounder is all I would give up for him
