Loving the cheers for Maynard. Wouldn’t expect much less from the toffs.

Take it. Dees probably on top longer than the pies but backline was magnificent. Helped by some average kicking.
Kruegers efforts have been telling.

That goal to Krugs came against the run of play. A great pressure mark by WHE after we looked in trouble. There were 5 Pies players within 15 metres of the ball in the back pocket and not a Demon in sight. That meant there were loose Dees everywhere. We are not playing well, but will take the lead.
Nick being completely tagged out of the game. Gawn dominating for them.

Decent effort by Brian Taylor in his first match as AFL commentator!

Which is why we can afford Frampton as second ruck / forward.
Howe and Moore been great and Lipinski and W H E been influential forward of centre.

I am referring to him as Captain Obvious.
Loving Maynard's game and he's loving the boos.

Finn's been good. Lipinski good. Crisp good. But now much else. The backline has been caught out more than a few times. Howe is finished as a high mark expert. Needs to just get through the games unscathed.
Bobby Hill has got to do a lot more. He was good in that last goal, but needs to do much more.

Good lachie. What was Gawn doing? Surely could have spoiled.
