For the record, we should consider he is an 18 yr old kid, returning this year after 18 months on the sidelines due to a shoulder reconstruction.

I think Hine sees the marking upside

The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

Hey Piesnchess, have you had a word to Collingwood about this young gun? Do you know much about his short career and ability comrade?

Just what we need, the eventual replacement for Mason Cox, who may well retire end of next season. Banking for the future, sounds very promising this kid.

Welcome to the club.

Nothing wrong with stocking up on ruck depth. Might be an intelligent selection especially if Cox retires at the end of the year.

Gotta admit, if he plays for our local bush team, the kid's gotta be good.! I am remiss, I have not seen a local match since moving here several yrs ago, reckon I must rectify this , this remaining season. :o

Reminds me of Simon Madden from years back, the way he launches at it.

Interestingly on his website it says he played all his junior footy with Mt Evelyn, then went to Montrose in 2022 where he played U17, U19 and Seniors in the one season in between games for Eastern Ranges.

Playing Seniors at 17 for a Ruckman is not bad.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

He's replacing <snip> Ash Johnson. Hard and aggressive at the contest. Tick.
