Within seconds of the final siren BT takes a swipe at Elliot for his missed mark in the final seconds. The guy is an absolute clown.

Anyway, great game was a joy to watch.

I’m still iffy on subbing Tich. We missed the in and under at the clearances. Dropping Reef is another. As a forward he has scored in every game he has played this season.

Can’t believe how non composed we were late, we seemed to panic at times. Mitchell sub was stupid. We got smashed at clearance and contested ball and it got worse after he went off.

It is damning for our VFL as there are clearly 6-7 players that are doing SFA and there is nobody to push them aside.

Thank god for Elliot’s mark because otherwise today was a non event.

ifs buts and maybes but lucky to get a draw and the 2 points. both sides had good claims and good momentum in the last quarter. both sides squandered plenty of gettable goals, dons after quarter time and us throughout. seems we gave a lot of silly free kicks and didn't get much in return

in any event, it was a close contest for most of the day and tense the whole way through. Hope you all get a rest now and appreciate the opportunity we had today, and tomorrow.

Best wishes Nicksters and go pies!
Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark of the last quarter

Harrison was good in that qtr. linked well and kicked a goal.
Thought Sidey should have been subbed rather than Mitchell but I reckon he hurts us defensively a bit. Probably more the reason.

I don't want to dwell on negatives, but today we turned the ball over far too often and if we repeat that against the Blooze next week we'll get slaughtered.

Too often we panicked. Nick Daicos was a clear exception and was great in the last quarter. I also thought Moore was coming back to his best form along with Q. Frampton didn't have a good day and let's be honest Jeremy Howe and Sidebottom will have to retire at the end of the year. Both were very poor today. We simply allowed their mids to walk right over us at times.

This must be fixed by next week or Walsh will get 50 possessions and Cripps will kill us. If we think a draw today is bad enough, a loss to the mortal enemy next week will kill our season stone dead.

What the result showed. yet again, is how good the Coach's gameplan is - we were thrashed everywhere, except on the scoreboard. The two points is a good get-out from what should have been a thrashing. It's actually remarkable that the team came back from it's early stupor. Too many players down - it's a wonder it was even a contest.

I struggled to get into the game, and felt we deserved to lose. 2 points feels like a win for us. McRae really needs to rip into them on their decision making and getting ahead of themselves. In reality we were awful.
Daicos definitely should have gotten a downfield free after that pass to Elliot, he got flogged and that was a joke.
