As for us.A good gutsy performance. We could have dropped our heads at three quarter time but we kept plugging away and never gave up.
Yes agree. Brisbane are pretenders.

Had there chance in 2020 to win the premiership but blew it.

I like the idea of throwing Moore forward...our forward line look instantly better and more organised.

Who knows, if we have kicked those sitters we might’ve won.
Wow,that’s a bit positive, you have a fever? Doesn’t affect us marvel characters that come from coode island!

Why do you only appear when we lose?

Please Fly. just drop Cox and Madgen for the rest of year. Play kids in their place. It's not like we're making top 4 this year

Players unavailable and that second quarter cost us in the end.

Promising displays up forward from McInnes and Kreuger given the options missing.

In reality better than expected performance when no one really expected us to win.

I'll take that in a development year.

Enjoy the win Brisbane as no Premiership for you again come September.

Positives:

• Kreuger and McInnes were good up forward. Loved Kreuger’s aggression.
• JDG kicked 4 goals.
• Best last quarter (5 goals to 2) of the season so far.
• Daicos brothers continue to shine.
• Pendles hasn’t lost his touch.

Negatives:

• Cox. Not AFL standard.
• Adams was poor. Field kicking remains a problem.
• Defensive structures need some tweaking. Still conceded too many easy goals when the Lions entered F50.

Competitive all night which was good to see without ever looking like winning the game which was disappointing. Was nothing to get exited about at any stage, just was never really close enough.

Bit flat on this one, I think 7pts probably flatters us a fair bit, we looked 4 or 5 goals off the pace most of the time. Hard to pinpoint specific areas that let us down, we really are a team that is 10% off on most aspects of the game. But, we are getting the ball inside 50 enough compared to our opponents, so you would have to say our forwards still let us down above all else.

Still think our defenders need to be a lot better one on one. Our mids try their guts out until they're knackered but they do seem to work inefficiently. I feel too many are running around unnecessarily and should stay spread out a bit more. Cover ground that way.

In any case, the result was a good one without winning. Not a disaster.

not a bad performance but selection definitely wrong for this one

cox and cameron cant be in the same team, it ends up nullifying grundy as he spends so much time of the ground

adams and lipinksi needed to spend more time on the ground, and de goey kicks a goal, 2 mins to go and he comes off, i know it unlikely to get a result from there, but its impossible when he goes off

We tried it last year.

Looked okay for the first game and then he was non existent in the next two so I’m a bit sceptical that it works well long term.

Question is can we afford to take him away from the backline. How far is Charlie Dean away and can he hold up in the backline.

Throw in Brown as well. Too good for VFL, not good enough for AFL.

This and this, I love our never say die attitude, of course they get messy in the last, tired legs, lots of kids, some big outs, not yo mention a couple who had to see the doc during the game. 7 points, who would have said no yo that pregame?

As for the maggots, disgraceful.
