Actually, that line I used is flawed. As is often highlighted in sports in general but particularly in cricket.
If the first behind by the Bulldogs, was a goal, everything after that is totally unrelated to what did happen.
So, as in cricket, when a team shells a few, comms will allude to how well off the bowling team would be, if they'd held that first chance, and the other 3 or 4 dropped catches. "They'd (batting team) be in BIG trouble, if those catches were held" Nope. From the very next ball, it's all new. There's no script.
