^ honestly, they are in the worst position of all clubs.
They are in an absolute shocking state for a professional sports club.
It will take them a long, long, time to get everything turned around.
If any player wants out, then of course we'd need to find out the selling price. But the Lions probably dont want a bar of Collingwood for a while.

Ha, yeah that's exactly what I was thinking, make it happen! Be good to see a few fireworks at the club, though I'd prefer winning ones!piedys wrote:Thus if he's a pig-headed know-it-all, he'll get on like a house on fire with Buckley then.Presti35 wrote:From a good source. Their board dont want him leading the club.
Apparently he isnt well liked and does not treat his team mates with much respect.
Would they swap for Cloke! (Though I still want him to stay!)
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

His management are still adamant that he's staying with Brisbane.

He's staying with the club for the 2017 season, but beyond that anything is possible.

Lost interest in football? Perhaps thats why no one wanted a bar of him in trade week? (That and his wage).http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-12-20/angry-rockliff-looking-to-rediscover-his-love-of-the-game
BRISBANE Lions midfielder Tom Rockliff fell out of love with football in 2016.
Yet to be seen if he will remain the Lions captain in 2017, but they'd better get a wriggle on.
Almost cant blame him for "losing interest", playing for that club. Bet he wishes he was elsewhere. Contract over at seasons end.
