That was my first thought.
Bombers are now playing for their jobs under a new coach and a looming post-season clean-out. They can be a good team when they are motivated to turn it on.
Collingwood's final round game just got a whole lot tougher.

He'll need the $750K. His legal bills must be over $1.5M. They might have to sell the beach side bungalow
They need a broom & a clean sweep. Feel sorry for the players.
Due to Hird's intransigence & Little's indulgence they've been in free fall for a long time.

with the beatings they've been given and with what would seem obvious to me is that there we'll and truly cooked some would even consider giving up on there careers as footballers I would think. hell we may even want to finish on a winning feeling.

#1: James Hird: wonderful, inspirational player. One of the true all-time greats.
#2: James Hird: coach who brought down an entire club with stupid drugs for his players, and - worse! - stayed on to make it kep on bleeding for years afterwards.
Sadly, no-one will ever remember James Hird #1. He might have recovered from his almighty blunder if he had 'fessed up promptly and taken his punishment on the chin. Then we could remember James Hird the player. But he didn't have the judgment and he lacked the courage, he let the self-inflicted would fester, and now we never will.

Watching it live on Sky news the players at the back of the room smiling and joking seems like they are really cut up about it.
Board meeting last night Hird was given no guarantee of job next year (being reported) Hird apparently objected to a review of his position under the circumstances he had been in.
Omg this self serving pompous ass just said his record as a coach was great and he always had the best interest of the players at heart.
He can't be serious can he ?
He said he asked Campbell privately whether the club could ever move on with him as coach.
Campbell took 4 weeks to consider and Little told him no it couldn't ever be with him involved anyways at the club.
He still referring to the club as "us"
He claims his honesty and integrity has never been questioned by anyone inside the club or any fair minded person outside the club.
Wow he is in denial
Little now addressing the media
Little says it was a complex decision
On field issues and ASADA have been major factors
Hird offered resignation and was accepted
Omg Little is just as disillusional
Hirds place in the clubs history will never be in question Little says
Matthew Egan appointed interim coach
Board to look for new coach
Review still going ahead
Little not going anywhere until WADA appeal process is over and club is stable again

Might have to wait for HAL to interpret that for me.
