Agree, can't see how Caff is going to get back in when he's ready as Levi can also play his role. Although Levi's disposal by foot isn't the greatest, his work rate and hardness is second to none.

He is the one, along with Pendles and possibly Adams to get it out of the bloody middle where we were killed this year.

I'm very happy with this get, 25 years old in his prime hopefully 4 years of excellent footy to come.

Clever replacement of Dayne at half the price. Well done Pies.

We don't want Levi playing the Macaffer role as a tagger.

That's what almost killed his career prior to this year according to North supporters over at bigfooty. That and he was on the Scott shit list for some reason and wasn't given the opportunities he deserved.

They credit Tudor in convincing Scott to let him play with more freedom.

Let him be a play maker.

Let him be the Beams replacement.

I agree, someone will have to play the role at times though. If Caff wasn't a tagger I don't see where we would play him. I think Blairy is harshly judged and Macaffer gets a free ride because he can tag.

Anyway like the flexibility Levi brings.

Hine made mention of how the club was impressed at how Levi shut down Heppell in a game late this season. That suggests, he'll be doing some tagging work. Hope we don't pigeon hole him as just a tagger since he really blossomed this year after the shackles were taken off and was asked to be a play maker.

Don't think the 2 have to be mutually exclusive, imagine a tagger who can also be a play maker, still the best way to reduce the impact of an opposition player is to make them be accountable for you.

Agree with this, but honestly, I expect Levi to be far more accountable for his direct opponent than Beams ever was. Greenwooid's defensive ability through the middle is what will make us a better side and hopefully we wont be needing him to get 30+ disposals and kick multiple goals because guys like Seedsman, Broomhead and Kennedy will be stepping up.

I've spent the last 3 seasons moaning about Beams' failure to pick up his opponent. I really, really don't want a Beams replacement.

Hopefully he can be like Kane Cornes who can tag a Player and get Touches as well
