I think he can be exposed but I do think when given the chance he is the one they like to use the footy off HB. Birchall and Young can cough it up so pressuring Guerra is critical for me. If Dew is back he is the other one.tcnthat wrote:Great analysis as always Snoop. We will have to play at our best but usually rise to good opposition so would hope for a good showing.
But I do wonder why you rate Guerra so highly (3 mentions). Personally I reckon this bloke was ordinary at the Saints and is ordinary now. Has a reputation as a hard man by arriving at the contest second and crunching the play maker. Never seen him go in head down bum up and come up with a hard ball himself. Just an observation...

For me this stands to be one of the games of the year.
Watching Richmond playing the Dorks last week gave me lots of confidence. Although Hawthorn still ended up gettin up, Richmond showed if you apply the neccessary pressure in the midfield then anything can happen, and Hawthorn will be made to look just as silly as anyone else by foot.
Im not too worried about Franklin honestly. Im just worried about players like Roughead and Williams. I think Roughy will be tough to match up on. Watch J.Brown crush Buddy.
As for the midfield snoop you couldn't be more accurate in most of your comments.
Can we negate Mitchells extraction? I reckon Cheesy will have to have a good game, along with Pendles in the middle.
This game suits players like Leon/Didak/Thomas down to the bone. Watch 1 of them boys to kick 3 or 4, or even 6-8 between them.
Massive game, and i generally think we might get up.

I hope no-one expects Browny to "crush" Buddy, as much as I'd love to see it happen. Just worry about expectations now on this kid who has only played half a dozen games and we've got to remember that. Franklin is a superstar so if he even kept him to four goals for the day it would be massive. Anything more would be understandable. Anything less would be miraculous.

Yeah, Great stuff Snoop.
Just wouldn't like to mess with that backline. It was solid last year and has been pretty good in patches this year.
I'd suggest the outs will be between Clarke/Cook/Wellingham. Thomas needs a solid game pretty soon or his name will be highlighted too.
Suggest Heater will get Cyril.
Wakes gets Roughead.
Brown or Harry on Buddy
Maxwell or Harry or Goldy on Williams (who could be the danger player to get under our gaurd)
I like our chances of Rocca and Cloke against their tall Backs. But it will all come down to which midfield can control the game the longest.
Rocca and Cloke will be limited in their impact if the mids don't get good free flowing ball to them and enable one outs.
I haven't seen the hawks play this year. But the Hawks apperantly play a floating zone for the whole ground (Has anyone seen it and explain it?). We need to run the ball at it to break it up or take it on. MM is the master of picking a game plan to bits, so I'm sure he has it sorted.

Rocca might not pull up for it... Burnsy the same.Dave The Man wrote: They Dropped Sharrod - Geez What do you have to do to stay in the Team.
Like Burns is Back but Not Sure about Rocca
I think MM will always put Rocca on the team sheet, it means the other team have to plan for him, even if he doesn't play tactically it might help.
collingwood.. bowl them over

Good Lineup.
I would have liked Welly to have had a crack but to have Burns and Rocca in is an absolute plus.
Rocca will be out to prove a point.
As far as Burnsy goes, he will give is absolute all as always but the real thing is what his 250th will do for the rest of the crew.
This has a bit of a similar feel about how much the boys lifted when Bux came back after a long break.
This is going to be a great game.
