Well that worked pretty well for us Hoggy. Who would think that not having pancakes for breakfast would effect a player that the Lions have talked up so much.

A little disappointed about Dick, I thought he was really good last week, on the plus side, good to see Medders able to have another crack and also Mick keeping the faith without too many changes

Are we now getting too scared to play some kids because they might get hurt?
Ask the boy if he wants to play. Of course he does.

Oh well we have Medders back.
Yup, No Dick, No Cox, but we have Medders in and a Goldsack.

Actually, I'm happy with that. It'll be a tough game so giving Dick a break and bringing in an older body that adds accuracy in front of goal is a good thing.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

I think a good move. Dick was very good last week, but brisbane are a physical team and will look to exploit Dick's lack of size (please i know how bad that sounds)

Medhurst obviously adds more to the team at this stage of his career. Dick has got a really good taste of the big time now, but a player so young needs full matches instead of half the match. A couple of weeks in the reserves will do him good. Medhurst was a must inclusion after a week of such poor kicking infront of goal.

I thought Dick was stiff as well! Presti will have to play on Brown and Maxwell will have to float across half back to help Presti out. I cant see any other way with JC still out of the side.

This is our strongest side we've had in all year. Dick was OK last week, but hasn't quite been getting enough of the ball to keep his spot. Rest assured, however, he'll be back soon enough.

The thought of having Medhurst and Didak crumbing to Rocca in our forward line is fantastic. Unfortunately, I don't have Foxtel, so I won't see any of it. I'll be expecting some detailed reports from anyone who goes to or watches the game.

im surprised that Wakelin isn't even an emergency, the lions have some talls who play forward (Brown, Patful, M.Clark and Charman occasionally too), Presti is our only 'big' key defender

Still say our side can't have Dick, leon, Medders & Didak all in the one side so I say god choice as well. Dick has shown a lot & will be back & is a handy backup.

Disappointed we haven't got Jimmy back, he would have been handy to have.

The emergancies seem interesting too with Richards named. Hopefully we stick with Bryan & his strentgh, he has been handy & has offerend more than Richards has.

I don't think so, Clemo is still missing from this side for starters.

What's the story on Jimmy Clement, I thought he might be back this week.

Pity Dicky's been dropped. I think he's added plenty to the side in recent weeks.

Meddles, though, is ther sort who'll stick to the Lions.
