Sensational win, great effort, great pressure.

The number of times we caused turnovers by sheer pressure and ran into the forward line. Well and truly exposed Essendon.

The kids all stood up and that win will be worth 10 normal games of experience to them.

My only complaint, if we have a goal kicking coach, I want his name and address NOW. He owes me for some broken furniture and some missing hair.If we haven't got one, FFS hire one.

There were NO bad notes Neil, just all positives from this win.

Two words sprang to mind watching the last half: relentless pressure

I think a few questions were answered today and I'm talking about the kids.
They stood tall, absorbed the early pressure and then bounced back with run, confidence and flair.

Essendon was just run ragged by a very disciplined young group.

The final score was very flattering to Essendon.
This had the look and feel of a thumping; forget the scoreboard.

This is a dynasty-making win.

Losing to us and Carlton has wiped any advantage the 2 shock wins over the Crows and Dockers might have gained for the bumblers.
Get back on top.

Great game. Harry O is really impressive, picking up Lucas, and doing so well. The backline we have is going to be as strong as ever in years to come.

Disappointing accuracy.

I'm still not sure about Bryan. He made some good moves (Which Richards never would have), but some shockers too. Curious how things might have gone if Hille had been in....

Good point - probably the only negative in the win.

We came close to kicking ourselves out of it at times, and that last quarter was a hair-raiser.

We should have won by 10 goals, but for our bad kicking. We smashed them around the ground. Give Heater the Copeland trophy now, what a champion this kid is.

Despite some poor kicking, Travis played his best ever game for us - 24 possessions at CHF is fantastic. Go Pies.

The young kids certainly came of age today....
Congrats to Thom, Dick and Harry..

I had to go pick up one of my kids during the last quarter, and had to stop in a shop that had the TV on to check the scores..then I checked another, just after the siren.....Whoohoooooo that's my boys, I yelled.

GO PIES!
My hand hurts from thumping the bar at the pub - damn you rocca and travis missing all those goals!

Great win - how exciting is it having super-dooper young players looking like the real deal? I love you Daisy - puts his gangly body on the line at every contest.
Cloke - just kick it straight buddy! Great game nonetheless. now we KNOW we kept the good one!
Bryan - bye bye richards.........

Definitely agree about Cloke. Best game he's played and he looked like a genuine CHF. A high quality one at that.

Harry O - took out their in form forward in style - great game

the younger players are beginning to gel ... you can see they now have the awesome sense of what each other are going to do & where they are going to be. All good signs.

Exactly cw.

The standouts are...well the obvious (3rd year player) Heater along with the even younger one's in Pendles, Sparky Thomas and Harry O. The latter is getting better and better each time he steps out. The bro with the Fro!!!!
