Stumps score SA 3/368.
Not out batsmen Kallis 87 off 142 balls (8 fours and 1 six) and Van Jaarsveld 69 off 107 a maiden test 50 (12 fours). Smiths 132 was scored off 264 balls with 22 fours.
Main bowling figures Edwards 1/78 off 19 overs, Dillon 0/55 off 20, Collymore 1/88 from 17 and Drakes 1/70 from 19.
SA have McKenzie, Pollock and Boucher still to come so WI will need to break the existing pair quickly and hope the following trio are less than usually productive if wanting to avoid a 500 +. This appears a very flat track so bowling sides out twice cheaply may be tough.
