Had a great day, fantastic win. Clokey was outstanding, as was Bucks, Taz, Burnsy, Josh, Ob, Benny, oh most of em were. LOL... Was a good team win. I like what I see, and hope this form carries through. Was good to get to a game, as I haven't been for a few weeks. Winners circle was great to be amongst again. Go Pies!

Fantastic win by the boys!
3 in a row! all by over 40 points. That has to say something surely. Another great game by Johnson.....that's 2 in a row! I think we're onto something here.....
As usual Bucks was sensational. Does that man ever stop? On a side note, good to see the intelligent Mike Sheehan has finally admitted how great Bucks is. Something we (and everyone else) has known for a long time.
Scotty Burns, another sensational game. Kevin Rose said it perfectly yesterday, imagine a Nathan Buckley and a Scotty Burns...that's close to what Bob Rose was.
They all stood up to the challenge and helped us win.....and how beautifully we did it.
Now, lets go put that Tiger back in it's hole.

Next week is a full on danger game after a week of such high emotion. No matter how many injuries Richscum have.
Freo sank like Anchors in Port Philip Bay. There kicking under pressure was a sign of things to come for them. Thier so called gun forwards disapeared with our weakened defence.
Lot to like, but we made many errors. Team effort again and Bucks full head on tackle was awesome.
Ben Johnson who is not the most rated player among many gets better.
Scott Burns gets under the guard of opposition teams as they don't rate him. Bucks said after the game when interviewed had it put to him that he had a great day out, said no my game was ok, but Burnsy was best or soemthing to that affect.

a great day overall. great crowd at the Cricketers before and after the game. a totally workman-like, classic collingwood performance. all 22 players chipped in, even molly, who despite his last-quarter theatrics did some good little things in the first half.
i've always defended johnno & he was very, very good yesterday. his goal in the third quarter was a gamebreaker. remember, he's not actually a natural defender - when he gets swung into the midfield/forward line he'll be creative & damaging.
& it's wicked to watch coley improve every week.

Good win for the boys yesterday.
Good to see the little guys get in there johnno and brodie killed them, presti and cloke held the backline together wel. taz strong in the forward line with help from josh, ob and didak. plush josh was everywhere. and bucks was bucks.
only negatives from yesterday really was the scrapiness of the game. sometimes they just looked they were playing kick to kick with freo going back and forth not looking where they kicking. Cloke and Kinnear did this on 2 sep occasions, but it luckily rebounded back to them respectively.
Also the fact they had almost the same amount of scoring shots(23/24), worried me a bit, but our defenders put the pressure on them not to convert, few rushed aswell from memory.
And the frees For us? Non existent. Stupid ORANGE maggots!

Actually, the frees were pretty even. Collingwood 12 to Freo 13. But if you count the ones they SHOULD have paid, then it would have been a lot more to us.Athas Hrysoulakis wrote:Good win for the boys yesterday.

Good to see you enjoyed the win Alf.
Although I can't help wondering if your post was entirely serious with that comment about Woey? (You on drugs or something?)>JOKE
I wondered why I didn't see you - why on earth were you all the way up there?
As for the win - Bucks and Burnsy were sensational along with a few others already named.
Good to see Johnno silence his critics also.

I was 100% absolutely serious about Woewodin. He IS a national treasure. One of the most sublimely skilled footballers I have ever seen. THE recruit of the century. And he played another great game on Saturday.stik35 wrote:Good to see you enjoyed the win Alf.

Why was I upstairs?
Three or four reasons:
1. I was expecting the weather to be a lot worse than it was ... and I no longer consider football worth getting wet for.
2. I can actually SEE the game up there. I just can't see the game properly at ground level. It just looks like a whole lot of players running in all directions. You can't see what's really happening.
3. With all the enemies I've made lately, I didn't want to be easy to find. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I just don't feel safe at Collingwood games any more.
Am I on drugs?
Yeah. I drink a lot of tea ... like Tom Hafey.

Id like to hear Alfs thought on Port Adelaide and their efforts against the Bulldogs. Afterall it was basically first v last.
I watched the Brisbane v Dorks game today and the Dorks were very very unlucky not to win. There was one shocker of a deliberate out of bounds in the last quarter. If the dorks keep playing like that they will make the finals. I cannot see Brisbane winning the Premiership. WCE appear to be the main threat at this stage.

The Torres bounce is officially dead. You are walking alone now Fernando.
