No mention of Stanley thought he did pretty well in NAB cup.We always play well when the tackling is hard and pressure on opponents.Tarrants tackling in first Quarter on Monday nite was great but we slacked off.Forward line pressure to keep the ball from rebounding out so bloody quick.Stanley in, hard nut.Havent seen Pendles to make opinion

Guy Richards - what has he had to do apart from not be injured to get a game? He was poor on Monday and should be getting confidence @ Williamstown, not Seniors. C2 in for him.

I would also drop Maxwell, yes I am probably going against the grain here, but I thought his game on Monday was ordinary. Bring in H. O'Brien for M. Williams.

Maxwell would be the last person you would drop. He adds so much stability back there. It would be a big mistake in my opinion to drop him.

^^ I'd drop one, not both.

And I doubt Pendles is fit enough yet.

There wasn't much stable about his game on Monday.

I thought Trav was actually pretty good on Monday night.

He presented all night, took a few grabs on the lead and kicked a monster goal. Arguably better than Taz and Rocca in my opinion.

The delivery into our forward 50 was atrocious, so give the boys up there some grace.

Well said Zeke,

No need for panick buttons yet!
I just watched the game, TC presented well and took those grabs espescially in the first half when we showed a bit. Adelaide did their homework, making sure we didn't get quality ball into our foward line. They have been playing at this level without any major restructuring for over a year now. Rosciutto unlike our fowards recieved pin point delivery and lets face it Adelaide were good! Top skills and hard at it
We stuck with them for over 3 quaters looked fatigued in the last. While listening to the game in the last don't know why MM did'nt cosider re-arranging the foward line bringing Tarrent and TC on the wings to open the foward line up. Would have been worth a try could have bottled the game up for a while and we probably wouldn't have had all those goals score against us in the last.
As much as Lones inability to read a defensive situation frustrates me He played well on Monday and others that have been criticised for dropping maybe an easy mark or missing the handle on the ball did good things 80% of the time. When we did put it toghethor and we opened them up with people like Egan, Leon, O'bree we looked a million dollars.
The Crows were a better outfit on the night, had better solutions tactically and we have got the Hawks next week!

I don't believe we should drop Maxwell, he did have a very ordinary game though.

I didn't like our forwards movement, we had 3-4 sitting on the boundary or right in goal square waiting to lead. The timing on our leads was bad, so it kept getting cut off at centre half forward. This needs to be worked on during the week. Maybe someone sitting there waiting for the one-on-one.

Swan and johnson had allot of turnovers based on not looking. Maybe it was the speed of the game or the frequency that the crows had it in our backline, but they need to gain a little composure, hopefully by our next game.

I think we need morrison in our backline, he has steady head. I don't think lockyer should be in the side, to slow and he just made allot of bad decisions. He did allot of team things like shepards but would handball to players who already had an opposition player on them.
Morrision for Lockyer.

Richards to get some practice at Willamstown is good move but CC also needs the practice there so which do you choose? I think Richards would benefit more in the reserves before stepping back up.

Who do we put on Williams is the question? Clement is the best option. I don't think Wakelin is looking fit, a game in the reserves may help him get some match practice in with a full game. He looked slow. We need experience in our backline though, so I would only replace him with Harry if Clement was in the side and it would only be for one game.

Pendlebury is still far too underdone to play AFL football , but he didn't go unnoticed by me last week vs Port.
