Year to date Moore, Crisp, Elliott are.all underdone. Maynard is just a pass.Haff wrote:Frampton good. Cameron very good again (leading our B&F). Reef has had an impact. Pendles workman like.
Moore just nowhere near it. Crisp a shadow of himself. Sidey missing some easy kicks. JDG just not having an impact.
If it wasn't Brisbane next week I'd start Macrae over Crisp.
Harrison can come in for Elliot. Give Billy the week off then I to the break.
There are some very tired players out there. That extra 5 week finals campaign is showing.
Macrae needs to start after the bye round.

The only thing I'd say is win dirty, but not the St Kilda way of dirty if you know what I mean. Fugly will do me.LaurieHolden wrote:Just win dirty, the polish can come later.
Because they only have one flag.

Do it now. Uncharacteristically, Crisp is a witches hat year to date, and causing turnovers.think better wrote:Not sure how this is decided but I'd almost sub off Crisp for Macrae when the time comes
Bring Macrae on, let the under 30's get us back into this.

On a positive note, I believe this game does start to answer a point that has been raised frequently in regard to whether or not other teams have "worked us out", or whether in fact we are just that split second, or that 1 metre, off the precision and timing we executed so consistently last year.
I think this game demonstrates quite clearly that the more significant factor is that we are substantially sub par in terms of the elite skill set that carried us to a premiership last year. In other words, we control our destiny far more than destiny controls us.
Go Pies!!
Click into gear in this second half, and announce our arrival back onto the scene.

How he hasn't started the game defies believe. Have faith in the youth because by the end of this season they a will be all we have. There'll be a mass of forced retirements. The Black and White Lion wrote:Thought there were good signs from Macrae at HT also. He’s not sitting there bored and disinterested. Was smiles and animated with the 22 as they walked off.
