Under the current finals system simultaneously, the answer is yes.

No team has ever made the grand final from 7th, by the way. Though we came close in 2007.

Yep. The 'dogs have emulated our 2007 efforts by taking out the previous years' grand finalists in the first 2 weeks of the finals.
