Maybe that's his problem.

He needs to tuck his shirt in.

What was special about half time was the way the boys ran off the field....it was...im just speechless when i think about - they were running off as a team - a wall of black and white...united; a team of champions in my eyes :o

Certainly is, and it describes him well.

Egan was turned down by carlton in the draft this year because they said he was inconsistent, and that maybe the case. But Egan strikes me as the player who can win matches. Id allow him to play a few bad games each year, as long as he makes the most of the games that he is switched on. I think he is out this week by the tribunal, has been offered a match. But id be keeping him in the team. Last week we were singing his praises.

carlton took eddie betts because there was no one else left and they saw a half decent player who snuck through, they had pick 7, us 10, they had the choice to take egan and looked very closely at him but turned him down due to the consensus that he is inconsistent. They are probably right but i think he will play more good games than bad.

I have just come back from Melbourne today and have to say i am still very happy about that win :)

The past few weeks,i have loved because the pies have finally gotten back to tackling and pressuring.

Travis Cloke OMG!!!! Thankyou Collingwood for signing Jason and Cameron!!. Didak amazing!! Clement once again mate Terrific!!!!. Egan even tho he got sighted,he'll learn. Congrats Presti and Rhyce on 50 and 150 games :) Caracella,Licca,Holland etc Thankyou 1 and all :) Keep playing this way(if u can) and who knows :D

What a crowd on friday night!!!!!!!!!.

How many times a week does Fox Footy show the games?. I want to c it again :) btw,can any1 tell me where does 1 go to pick up membership hats, as at the 'G they have membership stalls where u can show the card and pick yours up, did they have 1 at the game friday? just curious as i haven't got mine yet and i'm coming to the queens b'day game and would like to pick mine up cheers

Well done to Presti on his 150th. He is a champ that bloke, and a modest one at that.

Hawthorn actually had pick 7, Carlton pick 9.

9. Jordan Russell (West Adelaide) 18, 188cm, 78kg
South Australian under-18 representative, a quick midfielder and an excellent mark, who played nine senior games in the SANFL this year. Carlton's recruiting manager, Wayne Hughes, says "he's lightning quick; he's got a great aerobic engine, excellent agility, a good mark, makes good decisions under pressure, uses the ball well with both feet."

The summary in the Age would seem to be reflective of a player not too disimilar to Egan. Time will tell which was the better selection. Particularly as we originally had pick 7.

I think Egan will prove to be the right choice but as typical with all young recruits, he will take some time to settle down during his first year at the club. From what I have seen of him at AFL and VFL level this season, he certainly has the footy smarts and exciting skills but lacks that vital ingredient of experience and making the right choices under pressure which he will obviously gain as the season progresses.

My prediction is that he will be a major contributor to Collingwood's future success given time and proper expert coaching guidance.

Wow what a great game on Fri night watching the cats slink off. I have watched the replay four times now and Didaks goals still make me quiver with excitement. Brilliant effort by all. Hope Fraser recovers because he looked really exhausted on the ground, I think he is still unwell from previous injuries.

How good is it to watch Travis, the guy has finesse. The Ruz was great loved those two goals and his vertical leap.

I read frequently all the posts but don't often submit my own thoughts. I must say that I am impressed with the passion on this forum. Loved the image of Didaktic and Taz walking off the ground after the brilliant win.
