Actually Mrstarrant I think you might be missing the point....

but this is a world cup forum...not an argument about who should support who....besides it creates healthy debate if you can look at sides without bias....

Now back to world cup cricket....looking at pool B...its going to be real close for the final three spots given the kenyan victory....it is likely the NRR will determine the finalists...who do y'all think will make it????

Kenyas victory has thrown the cat amongst the pigeons.

I think New Zealand should still make it as they have two minnows to play i think.

South Africa will sneak in i think as they have the would on Sri Lanka

West Indies i think will beat Sri Lanka as well. Sri Lanks rely on Jayasuriya and Murali too much.

If that happens does Sth Africa qualify ??

Pakistan scored 9/253 against The Netherlands. Youhana top scored with 58, Umar made 48 and Razzaq, 47.

de Leede took 2/52 from 10 and van Bunge bowled 4 overs and took 2/27.

Another good bowling effort by the amateur amateurs - but don't forget, they were playing the professional amateurs. Lol.

You can talk Mrs Tarrant ?? Did you ever think that some people may actually agree with me ?? People rang up on 027 and complained that Martyn mainly scores run against poorer quality attacks and that Michael Clarke or Lnger should take his place. I can assure you i didnt know these callers.

However before any of my friends post they can check with you to make sure that their posts agree with you??

England in deep trouble. Key is win the toss and bat first. Semi Final of World Cup will be held in Durban ina day night game. Wouldnt want to be chasing runs

England were useless, as per usual. I really thought they were in with a shot when they got Tendulkar out, but their batting just wasn't up to par. We've got them on Sunday. Should be fun!

India scored 250 with Dravid top scoring with 62 and Tendulkar got 50.

Flintoff (2/15 from 10) bowled a top spell and Caddick took 3/69.

England were destroyed by a great spell from Nehra, who took 6/23. Only Flintoff (64 with 3 sixes) resisted.

I guess Cricket is quite deceptive as England beat Pakistan by over 100 runs yet by some were not given recognition. Yet they lose by under 100 to India and the words destroyed are used....lol
