Thanks, Ev5, and welcome to the cricket forum.
At stumps, The Vics are 6/375 with Motza still going strong on 181. He has 22 fours and a six and added 89 with Rummans (32) for the second wicket.
Katich is really staking his claim as a spinning all-rounder. After his match winning 5/48 last week, he has taken all 6 today!! He has 6/74.
From 1/312, Victoria lost 5/30 before Peter Roach (21) and Mott added 32 to take their team to within 17 runs of avoiding the follow on.
Roach - keeping wicket in this match (Berry is suspended) - is a handy batsman with a top score of 84 and an average of 36.23 so a first innings win is still a possibility for The Bushrangers.

JLC FOR GOD SAKE GIVE IT A REST WILL YOU! DONNY HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION TO YOU SO JUST BE QUIET GRRRR! ENOUGH ABOUT STEVE WAUGH! Anyway people I had the best day at the cricket today! Before the game guess who I spoke to? YES MICHAEL SLATER! I'm sitting there with Steph and Slats was walking towards us and he smiled and said "Goodmorning" and I'm telling you I nearly died and didn't stop talking about it all day! No everyone I'm not 12 I am actually 22 years old but I guess you wouldn't know it ahh it was the best! As for the rest of the day apart from looking at Slats constantly through the binoculars umm Victoria were going really well until as has been mentioned they fell into a slump but hey go Mott that's all I can say he is playing like a star! Anyway I look forward to the last day of the game tomorrow, hopefully I score another goodmorning and lets hope the Vics have a good day! GO SLATS!

Sounds like you're having a great time at the G, Mrs Taz. I hope The Bushies get first innings points or even pass the follow on figure so The Blues will have to bat again and, after a couple of overs, you'll be able to see Slats close up again. Lol.

How the hell can this current Victorian side be taken as serious. Half the side comes from interstate. Sounds a bit like England, cant raise their own talent to a first class standard so they pinch players from everywhere and anywhere! For christsake even the coach is a f...ing crow eater. Throw McGrath, Lee and McGill back into the mighty two blues and the game would more than likely be over by now.
As for the Steve Waugh (Australias greatest ever captain) argument, there is not one. He should, nay must lead the team to the Windies. Then after he has humiliated them and Brian Lara is a jibbering mess after the great one (Glen McGrath) has torn him apart once again, he should then with great pride hand over the captaincy to ponting not before.
COLLINGWOOD RULES no one else matters!!!!!!

Waugh came in at 2-0 on the first day of the game. Under any circumstances that would be difficult. His last test match he scored 100. His last one day he scored 100. His last pura cup game he has scored 100. Not a bad effort for a player that everyone is trying to make retire.

Victoria needs 15! Peter Roach is 93 (highest score) and Mick Lewis is 1. 8/530. This is vital for The Bushies. A 4 point turnaround is what's on.
A SIX to Roach!! 99. I'll stay in here. Katich is bowling. Roach sweeps, 100! 8 needed. Gotta get a drink!

What a gutsy effort by The Bushrangers!
They go 6 points clear of The Blues on the Pura Cup ladder.
Peter Roach scored his maiden first class century. His 108 not out, 9 fours and 1 six, was a great knock. He and Shane Harwood (32) put on 60 for the 8th. wicket and his partnership with Mick Lewis realised 39 before Victoria declared.

I can't believe your comments Trippy Pie shame on you! I am so proud of Victoria and so should everyone else! Also I think you will find that MacGill actually comes from Western Australia not N.S.W as you mentioned, who looks silly now! I agree with you Donny about Mott's double century putting Steve Waugh's innings into perspective but JLC would think of anything to say against that! Go Mott you are a champ mate! Go Victoria you played so well and I am proud to say I was there to cheer you guys on! Oh and I actually saw Slats make some runs today which thrilled me to bits, he also signed his book for me people and Steph told him I am his biggest fan LoL which embarrassed me but made him laugh at least! I look forward to the ING game tomorrow! GO SLATS!
