Anyone here seen 'Funny People'?
I watched parts of it last night. Really crap movie, but Eric Bana shows Adam Sandler & Seth Rogen AFL.
Eric is wearing a Saints t-shirt, and showing them a Collingwood vs. Saints game. So funny to see our boys in an American movie.
Only funny thing in the whole movie though
Love always, Alyssa xoxo

Saw Master & Commander yesterday (over 2 days) ( the women folk at my place don't like Russell Crowe so I saw it while having a man cold bloody typical get it on my days off from work). I reckon he's a great actor especially in "A beautiful mind" & I liked him in Mullholland Drive. I was a bit too sickened by Romper Stomper but he played that role well.
Thought it was good the sound & picture on a good quality blu ray & TV was superb. The first cannon fire which was unexpected - nearly fell off the sofa!
Not an exceptional film by any stretch but if you like the genre which I do then it was good fun. Cinematography & sound were highlights. Didn't climb to great heights as a film.

Just watched "Green Street Hooligans". My sons choice not mine, but not a bad movie at all. Quite good in fact. Very much a UK Gang culture take on soccer. Thank Christ we don't have a culture in AFL like the english soccer.

Saw Repo Men and I have to say for the most part I liked it. Interesting concept for the recovery of artificial human organs for those who fall to far behind on their payments and the dubious selling methods used to ensure a steady supply of repossessed product.
The ending was a little unexpected but explained why the movie suddenly went in that direction.
All-in-all a movie worth watching.

A Collingwood supporter since the egg was inseminated.

Watched the expendables tonight and quite enjoyed it. All the old boys strutting their stuff, not bad at all.
Also discovered I can stick a USB stick in the side of the TV and play movies straight off that without needing to plug in a media player. Nice.
