Good on Symmo. I'm not a fan of him but it was a great knock. Good on Ponting to sticking with him, nobody else in Australian cricket would have. He knows hes lucky to be there but he knows he still has a job to do.

Lets hope he can prove us all wrong again

Dear god JLC you can be such a complete an utter fool it's just a no win situation with you isn't it! I didn't comment on Symonds because I didn't have much to say about him and if you actually read what I wrote I said that I understand people being critical of him but to give credit where it's due! I wasn't critical of him but I didn't praise him either and I think that's fair enough, I think you realise just how wrong you are and are inventing things to make yourself look better! Grow up! Pies Premiers I'm glad you were only stiring with your Slater comment!

Well i do hope in the long run i am proven wrong and Symonds goes on to be a great one day player and scores more hundereds. However one hundred does not make a career or him a great player.

That only occurs over time.

fixed up all his critics, including me! but i still have no hesitation in saying that they've made the worst decision in cricket by leaving steve waugh outta the team, it may not seem important right now but when it comes to the crunch time they'll be missing the great man dearly! u wont see symonds do that in his life ever again, nothing against him and full credit for his great century but whats the bet he wont make another score past 30.
