if symonds is an all-rounder......Presti is a full-forward.....

they would bowl martyn before they would bowl symonds....

its taken him 5 years to get a score of any significance....lets hope it continues...but I wouldn't be expecting too much....

and Rhyce Shaw will win the Brownlow

Symonds is VERY lucky that the selectors are so patient. There are quite a number of cricketers or footy players that would like 5 years to be able to prove themselves.

Hoggs first wicket that he took was farcical...lol A rank full toss that as the commentator said should have been hit to Pretoria or some region around there.....very funny stuff Instead the Pakistani batsman lost his bat as he tried to swing through the shot and was caught.

Hey, you three (if in fact you are three), does it occur to you that Punta and Hohns did the right thing? Credit where it's due, fella(s).

And, incidentally, this is a SYMONDS topic.

i guess the ends justifies the means. However it doesn put into question the importance of Australia A games.

I have been impressed with Ponting so far on tour. He has been under pressure but hadnled himself well and spoke very well at awards ceremony after the game.

Trevor Hohns on the other hand is a different story. Don't think that highly of him but lets just wait and see.

like I said earlier....symonds should not be on this tour at all....he has had his chances in the past and one good innings does not make hohns a hero....in fact by the time this torn. concludes he should be sacked......hindsight would be beautiful now.....

Hogg is a mistake....symonds was a mistake, bevan will prove to be a mistake, lucky watson got injured or that too would have been a mistake....

Symonds wont make another score over 50 for the remainder of the torn.....will one match jusitfy his position??

Hoggs date with destiny is this Saturday night when he has the chance to bowl to Tendulkar, Sherwag, Ganguly and Dravid. If the Indians are on song well it should be entertaining. As of late though they have been dismal Image

If he proves himself against them well then he is a quality bowler.
