I'm supprised Gilly dropped down to 5. We still have 4 in the top 10 though showing our domination of cricket.
I'm suprised that Dizzy isn't up there, although he has been bowling without luck.

The only mover on the Test ratings, lately, is New Zealand's Shane Bond. His recent performances against India see him move up from 16th. to 8th. on the bowler's list.

He has an impressive average (22.84) which is bettered only by Pollock (20.85) and McGrath (21.35)

Notice how Andy Caddick shot up 9 places after the fifth Test? He gets big points for taking Aussie wickets because of our ranking in the World Test Championship.

Our bowlers get less points for taking English wickets. Australia is rated at 2 and England, 5.

PwC Test ratings - Hayden drops to leave Vaughan top
PriceWaterhouseCoopers - 14 April 2003

Two low scores for Matthew Hayden in the Guyana Test means he has lost the top place in the PwC Test ratings that he has held since October last year.

As a result, Michael Vaughan becomes the current top Test batsman in the ratings, the first Englishman to hold this position since Graham Gooch ten years ago.

Ricky Ponting, Justin Langer and Jason Gillespie all jumped several places after the Australian victory in Georgetown, while for the West Indies Vasbert Drakes climbed 11 spots to 32nd.

When PwC Test and ODI points are added together, Sachin Tendulkar is the top batsman while Glenn McGrath is top bowler.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D
