Ok with Brett Lee how many tail enders does he get out ?? I would say quite a few of his wickets.

Hayden, 46. Langer, 48. 2/125 at tea.

Australia took last 7 wickets for 47. Dizzy took 4/10 in the first session.

Merely confirms what a few of us have been saying that the Poms are truly hopeless. Imagine what some of our great bowlers of the past would have done to that lineup.

the pommies are so goddam crap at every sport on this earth, lol, they should just keep their pasty selves at home!

I reckon the Aussie bowlers started out thinking we'd give our batsmen something to chase (For a change). But then decided it was getting out of hand by stumps last night.

I enjoy reading all the posts in this topic and do so with great interest. I think it's important to remind some posters this current Aussie team is playing in THIS era.

We are the best team of this era.

Before anyone jumps in with, "Oh but we couldn't beat India in India!!", we had a strong win in the first Test, lost the second after an incredible fightback from the home team and lost the third in a very close finish. In the previous series we beat them 3/0 in Oz.

I can see no valid point in comparing this team to other great teams of other eras.

We can only beat the other teams (countries) as presented to us.

Yup Australia is the best team at the moment. I still cant believe Lehmann is getting a game. If Lehmann cant score against the current England attack on his home ground then i dont think he ever will.

What a beautifully classic moment to end the third day !! Steve Waugh says, "Bic, give us an over mate"

Andy Bichel grabs the ball and runs in. His first delivery is the equal of any of the great balls not to get a wicket and completely beats Hussain.

He then sends down a slightly better one - and bowls the English captain, comprehensively !!!

Then, this morning, he celebrates with another wicket in his second over.

Well done, Bic. His innings with the bat was a top knock as well. He probably won't be remembered as a great Aussie fast bowler but no player trains harder, puts in harder or is prouder of his 'baggy green' than Andy Bichel.

Isn't cricket a fascinating game at times ?!

Four batsmen - three of the very best to have played for Australia in recent years and a young batsman who went close to making the first Test team - scored 3 runs between them for NSW against Tassie today as they were skittled for 86.

Their names ? Michael Slater (duck), Michael Bevan (duck), Michael Clarke (duck) and Mark Waugh (3).

Next summer we need a series against the Rest of The World.

It's the only way to revive flagging interest in cricket in this country.

Rule 1. Barrack for Collingwood
Rule 2. See rule 1.
Rule 3. There is no rule 3.

Yes the second test was pretty boring. When halfway thru the first day i throught that its was going to be close the poms just cant put two good days of cricket in a row which as to be worked on by the whole touring party!!!
