mate barham is so far off selection its not funny.
It doesnt matter how many possies he gets he does nothing with it.
I actually wonder if people go & watch or just check the possies.
Probably the smartest comment made on Nicks since 1999.

What do we do with him? I mean there is minimal chance he will improve his disposal significantly as this age, how long has he been playing, 15 years+?

He is quick, reads the play, hard at it, correct? Only option surely is the TAGGER than Malthouse has refused to develop for a decade now. I say this with no ability to see the VFL games, so if I am wrong, consider that.

OBree has been a fantastic player and adapted his game to counter his deficiencies, and he is a completely different type of player.

So, my question to you BH, how does Barham break into the senior side and perform without being exposed?

Went to the game on Saturday and was really impressed by Reed and L.Brown

Ground was very wet and the skills and smarts of some our players was telling in the end.

Out of the players that may be pressing for a senior spot, Lockyer & L.Brown looked the most promising.

Dick, Goldy, N.Brown & Barham are still a fair way off.

Josh played a good game, very Luke Ball like! bottom of the packs and a lot of contested possesions.

The conditions didnt allow for high levels of skill, but what he did with the ball was reasonable.

His size would be the only thing holding him back from playing this year. Very good future prospect.

Gavin Brown's report are genuinely fairly honest and he has really been talking up Barham. Why do people think he is a fair way off? From the 2 games I've seen, his disposal seems to have improved and his foot-speed would make him at worst a tagging option

From Gavin Brown's review:

43: Jaxson Barham (18k, 15h, 3m, 8t): Outstanding. 16 handball receives. He has been a running machine over the last month. Playing off a wing and in the middle.

Mondays experts yeah yeah yeah.

Ask Gavin Brown what Barhams' efficiency rate is on those 33possies
