That's a good one. The worst thing I've ever done? Well, when i was back at school I did something I'm fairly ashamed of now. I picked a fight with one of my friends and ganged up against her as she was pretty unpopular, just so the popular kids would like me. It didn't really work, either. I was still considered a geek, and am still a geek, now!
What would you think if you found out your best friend was gay and had a crush on you?

Thanks
I would be a bit weirded out at first but I would probably try to let them know which team I bat for, the likelihood that I would change teams (highly unlikely cos I'm not friends with Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba or Miranda Kerr) and that I still wanted to be friends minus benefits, if that was possible.

A year? Is that all? I did it too but she hasn't spoken to me since, I think that was in about 2004ish. I saw her at the shops once and she tried to give me a dirty look, that's about the extent of our interaction. Although my actions were pretty bad I think it's a little melodromatic to go that far, expecially if she was seeing someone else by then. Sometimes I think people watch too much TV.

^ I agree. I can understand getting angry or upset, or even ending a friendship over it, but sometimes I think people can get a little melodramatic about relatively small things. Particularly considering that they had already gone their separate ways at that point in time - it may go against some kind of 'friendship code', but there really are far worse things you could do.

well, they werent together-together, but they were still hanging out. i knew that - every one knew that.
they actually got back together for a bit after him and i were done.
she was the one who came back to me, apologizing etc etc.
i saw him for the first time about 4 years about 6 months ago. he served me and a key-cutting place, where i didnt even know he worked. awkward. i got a discount though! haha.
